Senior Manager Commercial Performance Management - Marketplace Europe

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

 

This position serves as key connector across the channels to provide an holistic view around Europe and as a financial interface to the Wholesale Sales organization in Europe. It ensures that all reporting, compliance and analysis for the wholesale business in Europe is achieved for the longer-term strategy. The owner of the position provides financial planning and analysis to ensure profitability for the wholesale business and sustainable growth. Furthermore, the position takes care of the creation of short-term business cases and supports the tactical decision making. It looks into marketplace specifics and is partnering with the individual business and finance teams to provide transparency and guidance.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner with business and Senior Management team for Wholesale Europe by providing transparency on business development in an objective and contemporary manner
  • Enable a fact-based decision-making process by creating transparency on KPIs for strategic as well as short-term management of European Wholesale business and across the channels
  • Develop and implement adequate communication packages to present results, derived recommendations and solutions
  • Create new and improved working methods for entire processes and systems
  • Design, develop and implement state of the art analytic tools
  • Significantly contribute to the achievement of the department strategy
  • Identify significant improvement potential through variance analysis, derive solutions and facilitate related decisions
  • Provide comprehensive expertise for assigned functional areas/systems and processes towards team and business partners
  • Identify risks and opportunities and derive recommended action steps

  • Comprehensive business understanding of processes and structure
  • High degree of customer and consumer orientation
  • Ability to maneuver in consistently changing environment
  • Ability to operate cross-functionally and understanding of external business drivers
  • Thorough understanding of the complexity, interactions and dynamics within an international company
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Excellent communication skills for influencing others
  • Ability to think and act strategically and develop operational plans
  • Excellent analytical skills, managing large data quantities from multiple sources
  • Motivated to create the new, thinking outside of the usual box and a passion for digital innovation
  • Advanced MS-Office knowledge, advanced SAP (CO, BI) knowledge
  • Business fluency in English (written and spoken)

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • University degree in business administration with a focus on Finance / Controlling (e.g. MBA or CPA)
  • Functional: 5-10 years professional experience
  • Broad and deep knowledge in Wholesale driven environment
  • Exposure: analytical skills, figures
