Senior Manager Digital Analytics - Membership

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

As a Senior Manager Digital Analytics at adidas you are responsible for delivering cutting-edge analytics services to stakeholders, enabling them to make fact-based decisions. Based on multiple data sources, you generate insights that help adidas understand consumer behavior and related business performance to ultimately help drive sales. In collaboration with your team you inform the adidas digital market strategy and provide the factual basis for future consumer experiences and related demand and site development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Scope:

You partner with the .Com Experience organization to help elevate the Membership experience horizontally across our site. From Acquisition strategy to CLTV optimization, you build the analytical foundation, reporting and insights backlog needed to understand the optimal journey for each consumer and support the team by identifying concrete and relevant Consumer problems that the product teams could solve.

Within the Analytics Experience team you champion the ‘Members first’ mindset and collaborate with the various teams to develop a horizontal insights & recommendations backlog.

You collaborate with the App Analytics team to understand the full membership journey, cross-channel, and provide optimization opportunities wherever consumers interact with the Brand.

 

Analytics:

Lead the execution or usage and contribute to continuous development of the analytics practice in scope. Manage demand for insights and analytics. Oversee the collection, tracking, mining and analysis of data and the generation of fact-based insights using multiple data sources. Provide analytics services to global stakeholders and within the eCom markets. Ensure analytics results drive consumer experience and business impact and help achieve market sales plans. Lead or support assigned projects in areas such as analytics implementation, database integration, tag management, qualitative data, etc.

 

Consulting:

Support stakeholders in your area of responsibility in the use of digital analytics to define goals, select appropriate KPIs framework , monitor performance and derive trends and opportunities. Provide stakeholders with actionable recommendations and calls for action based on your gathered insights. Translate gathered insights into engaging, actionable and easy to digest insights presentations. Maintain a strong stakeholder network with high level of trust that facilitates action-ability of insights. Drive the implementation and use of data driven decision processes, in line with a fact-based decision culture.

 

Reporting:

Co-initiate and help implement new reporting structures or refine existing structures within your area of responsibility in alignment with Global Digital Analytics Frameworks and Data Governance. Help distill best practice guidance to other markets and other adidas stakeholders to maximize the use of analytics capabilities.

 

Innovation:

Build a strong internal and external network, informing the adidas Digital Analytics community on the latest trends and technological advances.

 

Key Relationships:

The .com Product teams, the app team, the eCom Market teams the Global Membership team and the Global Digital Analytics organization.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

Soft-Skills:

A passion for delivering data-based recommendations for quantifiable improvements in business results and consumer satisfaction. Very good communication skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely Very good presentation skills and story-telling. People management skills are a big plus.

 

Hard-Skills:

Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing or quantitative field (Math, Science etc.). Master degree is preferred. Minimum of 6+ years of experience in eCommerce/ Digital Marketing business intelligence environment, preferably in online retail industry. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Hands on experience of Digital Analytics at enterprise level in multinational/multisite context is strongly preferred. Strong analytics and reporting skills including business intelligence, data visualization and dashboarding.

You have hands on experience using the following type of tools and a holistic view on how they would benefit business:

 

  • Web Analytics (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 360, Webtrends, Wetrekk, ComScore, IBM Digital Analytics).
  • Voice of the Customer tool (Usabilla, Qualtrics)
  • Data Management Platforms (DMPs) (Oracle BlueKai, Adobe Audience Manager, Krux).
  • Personalization Platforms (Monetate, Adobe Target, Oracle Maxymiser)
  • Strong Office skills are a must, with an emphasis on Excel. 

 

Knowledge of these tools are a plus: 

 

Advanced Analytics Tools (R, Python, Spark)

Analytics Blending & Visualization Tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, Alteryx, SQL)

Customer Experience Measurement (Tealeaf CEM, Clicktale, KISSmetrics, Crazyegg)

Testing & Optimization tools (Optimizely, Adobe Target).

 

 

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications

 

University degree in the field of Business or equivalent 6+ years of experience in Digital Analytics

Extensive experience of digital marketing in a brand environment Experience in eCommerce environment

Experience in leading a team is a plus
