Senior Manager Digital Analytics


Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

As part of the Digital Partner Commerce (DPC) department, the Partner Development team is responsible for enhancing the adidas digital experience on our Partner’s platforms to drive digital sales & market share. The Sr. Manager Digital Analytics will own and drive insight generation, KPI tracking, basic reporting, forecasting, data blending/management and ad hoc analysis to support the wholesale organization. The position will require a tremendous amount of cross departmental collaboration to analyze the trends & processes of our digital partners to inform our strategic direction and drive sales. This position requires a talented business manager and cross-functional partner who can identify opportunities and influence key stakeholders in order to work through business challenges in an effective and collaborative way. 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive analysis and insights to clearly identify business drivers, anticipate outcomes and recommend future strategies to increase digital sales.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to drive shared goal setting and ownership. This includes leading cross-functional projects, evaluating new opportunities, attaining alignment on digital strategies, and defining the digital reporting infrastructure for the wholesale organization.
  • Collaborate with local and global analytics teams to share key insights, drive process improvements and build a closely aligned analytics organization.
  • Work directly with accounts when appropriate to build trust, acquire digital data & foster better information sharing practices.
  • Own & build daily, weekly and monthly digital reporting to increase visibility/knowledge and provide key information to the wholesale organization.
  • Serve as the key resource for analysis on digital initiatives and track relevant KPIs to ensure efficacy and provide recommendations for enhancements.
  • Drive data management improvements & processes with local and global IT resources to ensure access to the data required to drive actionable insights is easily available.
  • Proactively anticipate and present relevant analysis & recommendations to account teams to help educate and drive their digital businesses.
  • Support the Digital Operations, Business Development & Digital Planning teams with analytics to support their relevant business needs.
  • Liaison with wholesale leaders to further educate, upskill & advocate for a digital first focus.
  • Act as primary point of contact to global analytics organization, partnering to roll out analytical tools, implement new processes, share market requirements and elevate best practices.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Ability to prioritize and collaborate within a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to confidently present quantitative & qualitative inputs. Ability to translate messages & stories in a simple way to senior leaders in the organization.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and pragmatic approach to localizing and developing concepts, tools, processes and systems and proven track record in putting them into practice (sell, implement & sustain)
  • Advanced Excel skills and high proficiency in spreadsheets analyses, strong PowerPoint skills
  • Analytical mindset, innovative thinker, and a collaborator


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:


  • 7+ years of professional experience in Analytics, Planning, Finance or equivalent experience
  • Degree from college/university or equivalent combination of experience and/or education in lieu of degree; advanced degree a plus
  • Team Leadership & People Management required
  • Experience in eCommerce and or omnichannel a plus
  • Technical Skills with R Studio, Python, SQL and MicroStrategy preferred
