Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

Brand.com, which consists of .com site and app, plays a key role both for delivering financial results and for maximizing adidas/Reebok brand value with providing best in class brand experience.  Brand.com site plays a role as adidas primary shopping site by providing most up to date brand and product communication to reach to our target audience and by ensuring unparalleled product availability and app plays a strategic role in accelerating our digital brand eCommerce strategy in Japan by providing best in class brand and shopping experience.  Clearly defining the role of respective shopping places as wells as winning particularly on the mobile experience through app will be the key to success for this role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Overall adidas and Reebok brand.com business management including both .com site and app, accountable for all commercial plan & execution and operational KPIs for app and work with internal stakeholders to deliver result
  • Lead and manage brand.com long term and short term business such as mid-term(3-5 year) business planning, next year budget planning for next year and current year rolling forecast (RFC) planning
  • Lead, manage & meet consumer needs in collaboration with key eCommerce functions such as Buying & Planning, Digital Activation, Analytics, UX, Platform Operations, Consumer Service
  • Drive all in-season commercial campaign, co-work with Buying, Digital Activation, Media Activation, UX, Platform Operations to unleash sales potential in brand.com
  • Build holistic plan for seasonal key brand campaign and category growth opportunities by partnering with Digital Activation, Media Activation, Buying & Planning, Platform Operation with ensuring required resources and defining consumer touch point
  • Lead and accountable for maximizing app installations including new member acquisition, conversion of existing members to app user and minimization uninstallment
  • Drive all app install acquisition activities, co-work with Digital Activation, Media Activation to unleash install potential
  • Constantly report progress vs KPIs including Net Sales progress vs RFC to ensure visibility of business status both on MTD and YTD to facilitate discussions on necessary actions.
  • Summarize learnings and action proposal for next season and provide insights and recommendations to eCommerce Buying for future season planning.

  • Experience in planning and managing high budgets across channels while achieving high volume growth targets

  • Curious and passionate about eCommerce and the contribution of different traffic channels
  • You live and breathe it. You are comfortable with the rapid evolution of eCommerce technology and are excited to continue to develop and enhance your knowledge, skills and experience.
  • Strong (written and verbal) communication and interpersonal skills
  • Multinational corporation background and sensitive in cross-culture environment is a plus

 

Prerequisite Education and Experience/ Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent professional experience, ideally in eCommerce
  • Experience in consumer industry with at least 3 - 5 years.  eCom business experience is a plus
  • Leadership experience to lead 2-5 people
  • Business level English is required and fluency in English is preferable
