Senior Manager Digital Growth

GCA is our biggest, most profitable market for eCommerce, and it is vital that a strong talent is in place to accelerate delivery towards 2021 goals and towards the 2025 new SBP.

The purpose of the Digital Growth Senior Manager is to -

  1. As head office, support SVP Digital with day-to-day operations through managing SLT agenda & interactions, interaction with stakeholders outside of digital and governance over digital priorities / initiatives.
  2. Drive GCA digital acceleration through program management of the digital growth initiative portfolio. The portfolio consists primarily of high impact initiatives derived from global & local digital strategy.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Head Office:
  • Manage and support SVP Digital SLT cadence / meetings and ensure digital priorities are carried out effectively
  • Deliver content and support on meeting preparation and ad-hoc requests (i.e. presentations to the board, internal and external communication)
  • Ensure exchange on relevant topics and draw required information and deliverables to further process
  • Support business development activities such as identification and prioritization of opportunities to accelerate digital
    Program Management:
  • Accountable for orchestration and program management of prioritized digital acceleration initiatives to deliver against strategic goals. Manage initiatives from concept development, plan and incubation until handover to business for steady state operations (research, incubation & transformation).
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure GCA acceleration agenda are in place and fed with sufficient ammunition to meet short, medium and long-term growth ambitions (physical product, digital product, capabilities, storytelling / content).
  • Lead X-function program management and act as key contact person across global / local stakeholders, while facilitating effective working relationships between team members.
  • Develop plans that allow providing transparency on progress and identifying risks on time.
  • Identify interdependencies with other initiatives & programs and solve issues proactively.
  • Apply appropriate and effective communication methods to senior management and important stakeholders to influence driving delivery of growth portfolio.
  • As conflicts and escalations arise within projects, identify solutions and manage the resolution in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Drive change management activities for respective initiatives & programs and ensure changes are smoothly and successfully implemented to achieve lasting benefits.

    Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Abilities:
  • Experiences on eCommerce business/initiatives
  • Proven head office and/or program management skills with strong executional abilities
  • Proven experience working successfully in X-functional teams and with stakeholders at various seniority levels
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and untangle complex situations into actionable activities
  • Deep knowledge of China market and digital ecosystem
  • Excellent presentation and story-telling skills
  • Lead change management
    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate level
  • 6 or more years of relevant experience in MNC environment (e.g. digital, head office, program management, apparel/fashion)
  • Within which 1-2 years proven track record of large-scale project / program management experience
