Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
• Responsible for leading the growth of the digital wholesale channel & accountable for improving the financial performance of the defined key digital accounts
• Demonstrate leadership of your field of expertise and execute the required initiatives and capabilities to “win the digital marketplace”
• Act as the local ‘centre of expertise’ responsible for increasing sell through and market share across all online channels and accounts (pure player, eMarketplaces and omni channel digital sales) with a focus on the key digital players across the Zone.
• Driving the digital agenda across the Cluster organization together with cluster Digital stakeholders to increase digital knowledge and experience
• Work closely with the Market Digital Partner Commerce (DPC) organisation, overseeing implementation of the overall digital sales acceleration strategy and initiatives, and ensuring relevance within the Cluster
Key Responsibilities
• Increase Digital WHS sell-out and Digital share of adidas brand for your Cluster accounts through improved brand visibility & presentation, product findability and enhanced consumer experience that will improve key digital metrics
• Input into the European DPC strategy to help drive best-practice & consistency in our approach across Europe and facilitate best practice sharing, upskilling and tool distribution within the Cluster
• Responsible for forecasting online sales growth within your Cluster and staying up to date with overall online market growth
• Lead Digital transformation across the cluster and provide expertise to Key Account teams through driving Digital Shelf optimization
• Increase performance of Digital Brand Activation across eCom platforms in the Cluster (both Sales & Marketing working budgets)
• Drive the creation and tracking of digital joint business plans (JBPs) including digital initiative implementation (e.g. optimizing on-site search) with account teams
• Drive marketplace mapping & cluster account prioritization
• Management of all direct reports as an integrated team by setting specifications, goals and guiding principles for the team
• Creating a high-performance culture and managing career and succession planning for key talent
Skills / Qualifications
· A Growth and a Digital mindset
· Broad and deep functional knowledge in Sales (eCommerce, operational, financial and processes), with some exposure to digital consumer experience
· Excellent negotiation skills, the ability to influence and have impact, creatively craft and build brands and businesses.
· Strong influencing and networking skills to effectively manage interdependencies and projects in the matrix
· Confident with online sales forecasting, web analytics and digital metrics like conversion, CTR
· Consumer and customer obsessed with a deep understanding of both the retail customers you serve, as well as your end-consumer
· Proven track record of delivering versus measurable sales targets. High degree of commercial and business acumen
· Experience across global markets is a plus
