Senior Manager Digitize Sales - DC E2E



Digital Creation E2E is a strategic board program under the digital umbrella building the must-have adidas creation infrastructure of the future. Focus is to digitize the end-to-end creation-to-shelf value chain, covering marketing, creation, sourcing (supplier integration) and sell-in.  

It is an integral part of adidas strategy “Own the Game”. 


This role covering Sales Development drives quality and profitable Market share growth by transforming the Wholesale organization into a digital enabled organization. As part of that we strive for innovative tools, processes, events, policies, and guidance to offer premium experiences to our customers & consumers.  


You will enable growth & efficiency in Sales and Customer service and create a premium customer experience. You will act as reliable, supportive and visionary partner for GCA and link into a wide network of other market and Global stakeholders.  





This is a key in-house position for an organized, passionate and goal-oriented future leader who is able to serve as a facilitator between Global Sales Direction and Digital Creation E2E.


  • Support the digital transformation of our Franchise and Wholesale business to support growth & efficiency in Sales and Customer service and to create a premium customer experience as part of our strategic programs “DIGITAL CREATION E2E (DCE2E)” and “DIGITIZE SALES” 
  • Implementation standard Franchise and related SPEED processes for Sales in China (merge best-practice of Wholesale, DTC & China Franchise) in alignment with Global direction as a prerequisite for rollouts within GCA and further markets 
  • Act as a Global Franchise & Wholesale expert and first contact for markets for the Digitalization of our business and the global digital tools (Digital Showroom, S.CORE, CLICK, Marketing cloud, analytics, ASSIST)  
  • Transform the physical sell-in into a sell-in with Digital in the lead (Showroom of the Future concept), enable virtual collaboration with strategic accounts and support to reduce physical samples  
  • Rollout of new sell-in concepts such as the Showroom of the Future and coordinate all teams involved with project management capabilities 
  • Identify quick wins & opportunities within the DCE2E program and define & implement a new Go-To-Market process with Brand and Sales functions 
  • Support the implementation of managed tools and related initiatives to achieve defined objectives and consult markets on business processes & compliance 
  • Run commercial assessments of markets and create gameplans for the roll-out of managed tools and processes 
  • Consolidate and prioritize global & market demand/ roll-outs based on global strategy and business cases 
  • Implement global standard service levels, processes and digital capabilities in close collaboration with Digital Sales Solutions and other functions 
  • Manage x-functional Global Sales projects with the focus on developing the go-to-market process and service approach enabling the markets to achieve operational excellence and commercial success 
  • Support to develop the Franchise operating model with Global Sales functions and drive organizational and process change management in the markets through trainings and best practice sharing 
  • Ensure creation & distribution of communication and training material for managed tool to markets 
  • Implement a high standard and agile approach to project management and effective communication methodology 
  • Build trustworthy relationships and an effective and collaborative network across channels and departments  




  • Global: Global Sales functions, Global IT, Sales Finance, Business Development, HR,  CTC & MOPS, Global Digital E2E creation team, Corporate Solutions, GBS, GDM 
  • Markets: Market Sales Development, Sales Coordination, Market Digital Wholesale and Key Account teams, Sales Directors, Market Customer Service, Market CTC and MOPS  
  • Other stakeholders can relate to the following core functions
    • Design VP's/Directors, Product creation functions
    • GOPS (incl. ACT, Sourcing, T1s) & IT
  • Be part of a larger digital transformation hub, holistically driving digital transformation at adidas





  • Sales experience in international SGI, FMCG and/ or consulting company  
  • Operational Franchise/ Wholesale Market experience (e.g. Sales/ Marketing, Key account)  
  • High degree of commercial knowledge and business acumen  
  • Strong understanding of Franchise/ Wholesale processes, KPIs and ability to influence others  
  • Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, facilitation, negotiation) 
  • Demonstrable analytical, planning and organizational skills (e.g. project management and strategic development) 
  • Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity  
  • Creative, open-minded and agile team player  
  • Mental flexibility, initiative and determination 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Skills and abilities in another language are a benefit 




  • University degree in business, ideally with Sales/Marketing or Retail focus
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the sporting goods or comparable industry
  • Cross-functional experience ideally with Marketing/ Finance/ Global Operations/ SCM 
  • Experience within different countries and/or different cultures
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Project Management
  • Experience in Business Systems & Processes (SAP, CRM, B2B) preferred 
  • Mobility: Flexibility to live abroad (e.g. Shanghai) for min. 3 years
