Senior Manager GBS AR eCom

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage and lead several M4s and/or P1s (Team Leads) as direct reports often within a context of multiple markets - broader scope and complexity compared to M4 in regard to responsibilities
  • Ensuring full responsibility for team performance and execution in accordance with defined KPIs and in compliance with SLA, being also responsible for HR related processes like Performance Reviews, recruiting, talent management and development and training
  • Support and drive company Mission and Vision, ensuring regular communication with the teams (direct and indirect reports)
  • Sets clear objective for team members, providing expertise in supervised area
  • Build up and coach members for improvement and their career development.
  • Manage team with proper succession plan in place
  • Enable and promote cross-functional collaboration
  • Ensure and manage Business Partner (BP) satisfaction and complaints resolution
  • Drive process improvement projects and ensure adequate process changes and respective communication to team and BP
  • Active communication and issue resolution with BP in order to optimize their satisfaction with service provided
  • Responsible for issue resolution and process or service improvement, partly via addressing the root causes of errors or inefficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with Group Finance Manual standards and legal and tax requirements of the companies served (the latter as detailed in the local SLA’s)
  • Drive for simplification of processes and implement common processes wherever possible
  • Develop and report on KPI`s; implement and monitor appropriate quality controls
  • Oversee and assist with preparation of documentation for year-end audit
  • Leading cross-functional projects to improve quality, consistency and efficiency within the center.
  • Implementation of business strategies with some impact on business unit/ function results
  • Work is independent and collaboration across multiple departments
  • Convince others within and / or outside the organization to accept new or modified standards or concepts with divergent interests
  • During transition and business projects:
    • Ensure proper preparation and ensure deliverables from team;
    • Ensure proactive and positive cooperation with local teams during and after each transition;
    • Ensure that all processes are fully implemented in-house before sign-off and aligned as much as possible with the standard processes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Detailed knowledge and know-how of the business scope in charge and the General Ledger accounting under IFRS, especially related to accounting for derivative transactions and investments (IAS 39 and 36)
  • Excellent knowledge and deep know-how of local GAAP for derivative and hedge accounting
  • Good knowledge in the use of SAP FI through proven work experience
  • Strong communication skills (especially to help driving projects and process improvement across multiple teams and markets)
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse team
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail, and analyse complex details and calculations
     

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience, preferably in accounting or business
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the area of accounting
  • Proven work experience in people management/demonstrated ability to manage a medium-sized team
  • (Internationaler) Bilanzbuchhalter/ ACCA or similar professional qualification
