Senior Manager GBS Delivery Excellence - IA

As a Senior Manager IA - Discovery (SM IA) you’ll play a fundamental role in the process automation area acting as the main bridge between business stakeholders, Operations, GPOs and DE Development teams, ensuring that proper opportunities are identified and developed following the company automation strategy, bringing meaningful and measurable business value.

 

SM IA leads a Team of Automation Business Analysts and collaborates with the business teams not only to gather a full understanding of their processes and respective requirements but also, to assess how can a process be redesigned to make it “robot-compatible” increasing the robot scope and benefits for the teams.

 

You’ll have good leadership skills and an excellent understanding of what different technologies are capable to deliver, so you can do a proper assessment of opportunity feasibility. The SM IA also analyzes and compares if the solution meets all required criteria and delivers the estimated efficiencies, for which should get all the signoffs needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate and lead a Team of Automation Business Analysts focused on discovering automation opportunities for GBS / adidas and generate hard and soft benefits for GBS / adidas;
  • Propose prioritization of automation opportunities considering business case and effort required and respective roadmap;
  • Coordinate with DE IA Development Team, Operations, GPOs and other relevant stakeholders in order to achieve a healthy pipeline of initiatives and deliver agreed efficiencies;
  • Keep an updated knowledge about state of the art for automation technologies and what new opportunities they could bring;
  • Benchmark with best in class GBSs and Automation Teams to leap frog on Intelligent Automations.
  • Other day to day responsibilities:
  • Analyze business processes and tasks identifying and assessing potential automation opportunities;
  • Make use of Process Mining Tools to get an uderstanding of processes that could result in automation opportunities;
  • Obtain the  required data for business cases and ROI calculations;
  • Collect business requirements, cooperate with process SMEs and operations to get the full employee experience;
  • Facilitate sessions between business and techcnical teams to gather functional and non -functional requirements for the to-be processes;
  • Translate the as-is processes into adequate cross-functional diagrams;
  • Create business requirement documentation, tipically delivered in the form of PDD (Process Definition Document);
  • Recommend, whenever it’s appropriate, process changes/redesigns/gaps and wastes removal in order to turn it into a “robot-compatible” processes;
  • Drive specific sessions with development and architectural teams to define the best approach for the to-be solutions keeping in mind scalability and the stackeholders expectactions;
  • Ensure the creation of proper test plan that needs to be pass by the automation prior to it’s deployment into production enviroment;
  • Collaborate with development team on the Agile backlog management;
  • Keep stackeholders updated during the implementation period;
  • Identify change management/trainings implications for post automation delivered;
  • Be the first point of contact between development team and the business;
  • Ensure that all required sign-offs are obtained on adequate time;
  • Ensure that proper opportunities and priorities are taken in consideration for the automation pipeline management.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, coupled with a logical, disciplined and structured approach to documentation and procedures;

  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills;

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • University Degree in Business Administration / Management / Engineering/ IT/ Data Sciences/ or related fields;
  • At least 5 years working experience in GBS in Automation, Process Excellence or Continuous improvement;
  • At least 2 year experience working functionally with automation technologies (e.g. UiPath);
  • Experience with workflow, BPMN notation translating processes into cross-functional diagrams;
  • Experience applying some of the frameworks for continuous process improvement p.e., Kaizen, Six Sigma or Lean;
  • Familiar with Agile framework concepts;
  • Experience in managing cross-functional projects;
  • Understanding of AI /ML is a plus.
