Senior Manager Project Management Office

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Lead, drive and implement the APAC Senior Leadership Team head office operating model for Market APAC. Simplify and operationalize the APAC Senior Leadership Management Process and Calendar, support APAC MD and VP Business Development with key Executive Management Presentations and visits, and secure accountability towards the joint APAC Plan by driving SLT decisions and actions/follow-ups.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the APAC Senior Leadership Management Process and Calendar, incl. SLT meeting cadence and events as well as key market visits
    • Simplify and operationalize the APAC Senior Leadership Management process
    • Lead agenda, organization and minutes/ follow-up for SLT Meetings
  • Maintain and manage the APAC SLT dashboard to document SLT decisions and secure action follow-up and accountability to the joint APAC plan and agenda
  • Support MD and SLT through driving preparation of Board meetings, Board visits and other executive management formats
  • Provide ad hoc support to MD and VP Business Development on a variety of business topics
  • Prepare MD and VP Business Development for all internal and external meetings as required, organize and orchestrate team workshops
  • Prepare relevant documentation to ensure MD is prepared for all relevant interactions (Board, MD, CLG/ELG meetings/calls, Board check-ins etc.)
  • Set up and implement smart tools and solutions (e.g. sharepoint, smartsheet, etc.) as well as consistent templates in line with global templates and best practices.
  • Lead activation of the APAC Business Development network incl. securing smooth flow of relevant debriefs and communication to ensure visibility of SLT decisions across all clusters/ countries
  • Ensure team and stakeholder awareness of the purpose and deliverables at various APAC milestones
  • Act as an enabler and facilitator between APAC and Country/Cluster Business Development Teams as well as other relevant business functions in APAC (corp comms, brands, channels, HR, Finance, IT, etc.) in preparation and execution for any of the above key responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Resolute and good problem solver, Drive to succeed and deliver against expectations
  • Good grasp of the global and Asia-Pacific business incl. strong market and industry awareness
  • Strong conceptual understanding of the role of Business Development in the wider business
  • Strong interpersonal skills (influencing, communication)
  • Strong presentation skills (incl. mastery of ppt)
  • Ability to manage, develop and motivate internal and external project teams
  • Strong project management skills
  • Fluent in English


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in business/marketing
  • Proven experience in cross-functional and collaborative working (matrix organization)
  • Functional: 6-8 years of relevant work experience in functions like Brand, Sales, Finance
  • Cross functional experience ideally with elements of strategic planning/ marketing/ sales/ finance
  • Industry: sporting goods/retail/consumer goods
