Senior Manager PMO (Temp 6 months)

Purpose

The Senior Manager PMO works across three dimensions to ensure a clear and efficient process for project management, communications, and change management.

  • Drive projects and change initiatives across functions
  • Manage stakeholder’s relationship and secure buy-ins to help bring the strategy to fruition
  • Supports the SVP EMEA SCM and the EMEA SCM Senior Management Team in driving activities across the function to help bring the strategy to fruition. 

 

Key Responsibilities:   

  • Manage assigned projects securing progress and benefits to the company, on time and in budget. Apply structured project management approach.
  • Provide leadership in Change Management workstreams of EMEA SCM key projects to ensure there is a clear path for change and there is a clear connection with communication strategy and execution to support understanding of the change across EMEA SCM and key stakeholder groups.
  • Support the SVP Europe SCM in constructing and delivering clear communication to both internal and external audiences at all levels. This includes creation of documents for Executive and Board-level briefings to explain significant business issues and initiatives in a timely, clear and effective manner.
  • Evaluate and validate business requirements, develop solutions and ensure compliance across different functions in the organization
  • Continuously identify and drive implementation of process changes in alignment with business partners and IT.

  • All Supply Chain functional teams
  • Global Operations PMO & Comms team
  • Corporate functions (e.g. legal, finance & performance management)

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Proven track record in project management is a must
  • Excellent analytical skills, managing data from multiple sources and synthesize the complex data to develop innovative solutions
  • A natural and proactive communicator with good interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels
  • Flexible and adaptable approach; able to juggle projects in parallel with ease
  • Collaborative working style, ability to think end-to-end and operate cross-functionally
  • Positive and enthusiastic, with a desire to learn and develop skills

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:   

  • University degree in Business Administration / Finance / Management / Communication
  • Min. 6 years progressive working experience with at least 3 years’ experience in managing projects preferably in a matrixed organization
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to create effective PowerPoint presentations that ‘tell the story’
  • PMP/lean sigma certification preferred
  • Consulting experience preferred
