Senior Manager Product Operations

 

General Purpose

As Senior Manager Product Operations at China Digital Hub you are accountable for operations of existing and forthcoming App’s. Partner with IT, Local China market and Product Teams to land new functionalities & best practices operationally. Additionally, you will be cooperating with various internal stakeholders, including Markets and other DBC areas to drive consumer engagement and satisfaction, as well as incremental revenues out of delivering digital experiences.

 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Digital Product Operations

  • Lead end to end hype operations with discipline and clearly called out actions, timelines and accountability
  • Manage multiple optimization projects and initiatives while driving accountability on day-to-day operation
  • Ability to work outside of standard office hours including weekends and some Holidays as required based on product launches
  • Land new features and development with the business with clear documentation and training
  • Influence and drive the digital way of working across the organization as we continue to pivot further towards digital
  • Represent Digital Hub in operations/implementation discussion for fostering strong relationships with China key stakeholders to ensure that their views and requirements are captured in the product backlog
     
    Backlog Input
  • Inform the product owners on product backlogs linked to operations
  • Be across ongoing and planned sprints
     
    Monitoring
  • Be accountable for monitoring of the configuration, features and functionalities related to the product
  • Ensure that objective data sources and feedback are used for the optimization of the product
  • Own Hype Operations horizontally across WeChat and APP’s

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Degree with focus on Business Administration, Communication or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years of experience working in a Digital and/or eCommerce environment
  • 5+ years working as a Product Owner or product management related role, preferably in an agile working setup
  • Experience in working with stakeholders and experts at various organizational levels
  • Experience in creating strong internal business cases to support investment and internal resource requests
  • Experience as a Product Owner in at least one additional product area or domain
     
    Soft-Skills
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
  • High resilience and solution-oriented attitude
     
    Hard-Skills
  • Expert knowledge on operating WeChat platform mini programs & native mobile apps
  • Familiarity with A/B testing or other multivariate testing
  • Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies
  • Understanding of IT products and capabilities
  • Fluent in English both verbally and written
