Senior Manager eMarketplace Brand & PPC Activation

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:


Lead and drive the optimization & execution of our performance marketing investments & overall brand go-to-market strategy across the defined digital eMarketplace Key Account for the adidas brand in Europe. Tailor our approach to best serve consumer needs across the different European countries and work towards maximising ROAS.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Managing the defined performance marketing budget to maximise ROAS and brand exposure across the defined key account, across the Europe marketplace
  • Taking a strategic oversight, focussing on how our brand is seen and experienced by consumers & how we drive a growth investment strategy across performance marketing in the Digital Wholesale Channel
  • Through data and analytics, continuously re-assessing the most optimal mix across both on-site and off-site investments for the defined Digital Key Account
  • Partnering closely with the Digital Partner Commerce team (DPC/Digital Wholesale) and digital communities to drive synergies in our approach
  • Engaging with the marketing & advertising teams at the defined key account to better understand the different investment opportunities available, alongside the key KPIs to help define where best to channel our brand investments (e.g. Reach, ROAS, CTR, ATC etc…)
  • Regularly communicating back to the business on performance driven from our investments, through the pre-defined success KPIs
  • Working with the European DPC, Sales and Brand teams, to secure the respective performance marketing budgets each year
  • Liaising with the European Paid Media Measurement team, to maximise & optimise the effectiveness of our spend
  • Partnering with the local Brand teams to ensure a consistent and aligned go-to-market approach, factoring in the holistic impact on the European marketplace
  • Working with the Digital Operations account lead to ensure that the most relevant content is both available and displayed to the end consumer, to maximise brand appeal and sales
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the marketing & advertising functions at the defined key account, representing our brand and maximising the value potential on offer
  • Through derived data, carrying out various campaign analyses & after presenting these to the relevant stakeholders, incorporating the learnings in all future planned marketing activities
  • In leveraging the various planning tools available, ensuring that any marketing plans are targeting the most appropriate target audience, alongside maximising profitability and ROAS
  • Maintaining and updating the adidas brand store within the digital ecosystem of the defined key account, ensuring that the content is leveraging the most updated brand direction and our consumers can experience our brand in the best possible way
  • Partnering with relevant internal & external stakeholders, planning & executing an effective campaign management strategy focussed around key launches and key commercial periods (e.g. Cyber Week, Prime Day etc.)
  • Leveraging the resources available internally and where not available exploring creatively the most cost & time effective solutions to drive content creation across our key products and brand moments that will be made available to our consumers at the defined key account(s)

EU Digital Partner Commerce (DPC), EU Paid Media Measurement, Wholesale Sales, Brand Activation, Global DPC, Key Account advertising & marketing teams, Key Account commercial teams, EU brand team


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Ability to work effectively under pressure within an international team environment
  • Knowledge & experience of Amazon Advertising is a must
  • Excellent PC & system knowledge, especially Excel (advanced level)
  • Experience working with leading global eMarketplace platforms
  • Ability to extract clear insights from vast data sources
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing KPIs including ROAS, Reach, CPC, CTR, CVR
  • Strong planning, organizing & project management skills
  • Result driven personality & great attention to detail
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Keen interest in performance marketing & the digital industry
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work in deadline driven environment
  • Solution-oriented with a focus on achieving results.
  • Fluent English is necessary


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:


  • Experience working with Amazon Advertising is a must
  • Experience in optimising Performance Marketing strategies to maximise ROAS
  • Experience in localising Performance Marketing plans to the relevant European locale
  • Minimum 4 years of Performance Marketing experience with a recognised top-tier brand
  • University degree is preferred
