Senior Product Ownership - Omni WeChat

General Purpose

As a Senior Product Owner, Omni Wechat at China Digital Hub you are responsible for the quality and strategic impact of complex digital products, mainly focus on omni wechat (including own retail wechat store & enterprise wechat solution). Together with agile team(s) you work on continuously improving and evolving the product in order to maximize the value for the consumer.

Partnering with IT and local China Own retail/Ecom/Marketing to define a robust product backlog, managing capability expansion increments and leading definition of new functionalities & best practices are a few examples of the activities, consumer experience enhancement to better shopping experience from online to offline that will be expected from this role. Additionally, you will be cooperating with various internal stakeholders, including Markets and other DBC areas to drive personalization, platform efficiency, member privileges and commerciality.


Key Responsibilities
Scope: Accountable for the success of digital product/products on omni wechat solutionProduct Strategy & Delivery

▪ Be accountable for the product success considering the value for the consumer and the company (ROI).
▪ Specify omni wechat MP vision and roadmap as well as user stories considering the value for the consumer and the company as well as its role and impact on the adidas digital ecosystem
▪ Consumer experience will be the first priority, UIUX enhancement, better shopping experience, member privileges on this platform.
▪ Ensure the digital campaign design and delivery on wechat to ensure the campaign successful of adidas SP/originals/neo brand.
▪ Closely collaborate with IT delivery management to ensure product delivery in line with the aligned roadmap and committed delivery dates
▪ Identify and solve dependencies with other product owners to ensure efficient delivery
▪ Ensure product road map is relevant to the fast-paced China Digital landscape
▪ Be data driven in all aspects starting from sprint prioritization to product analytics to ensure continuous optimization

Stakeholder Management
▪ Represent the business for the product, fostering strong relationships with China key stakeholders to ensure that their views and requirements are captured in the product backlog Backlog Management
▪ Prioritize the items in your product backlog in close collaboration with China Business. Specify the definition-of-done in cooperation with the product team(s).
▪ Own the refinement of your product backlog to ensure that the product team(s) is/are delivering the right enhancements to drive consumer and business value.
▪ Provide acceptance for delivered backlog items by the team, in line with the definition-of-done.Monitoring
▪ Be accountable for monitoring, optimization and enhancement of the configuration, features and functionalities related to the product.
▪ Ensure that objective data sources and feedback are used for the optimization of the product

Education & Experience

▪ Degree with focus on Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
▪ 6+ years of experience working in a Digital, eCommerce, consumer facing IT products, understand business needs & operations
▪ 2+ years of working as a Product Owner or product management related role, preferably in an agile working setup
▪ Experience in working with stakeholders and experts at various organizational levels
▪ Experience in rolling out consumer facing features within China Digital Eco-System would be highly valued (WeChat)
▪ Experience as a Product Owner in at least one additional product area or domain would be highly valued
▪ Experience in building data lakes, instituting data dictionaries and introducing data led automation would be highly valued
▪ Experience in linking product strategy, features and road map to business value creation would be highly 
▪ Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
▪ High resilience and solution-oriented attitude
▪ Knowledgeable about the China Digital Ecosystem across WeChat, Tmall and Native Apps
▪ Familiarity with A/B testing or other multivariate testing
▪ Expert knowledge of Agile working methods e.g. Scrum/Kanban
▪ Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies
▪ Advanced understanding of IT products and capabilities
▪ Advanced understand of data base and data lake technologies
▪ Fluent in English both verbally and written
▪ Basic abilities in data mining and understanding of data flow across systems
