Senior Project Manager, Innovation Apparel


Support the Innovation function in the management of a broad range of ‘process innovation’ projects ranging from innovation development to commercialization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support implementation of ‘process innovation’ projects
    • Drive innovation projects  / sub modules across multiple countries and locations as well as part of cross-functional teams towards achieving defined project goals
    • Support development of processes, structures and frameworks that support the implementation of smart solutions to improve the development and commercialization of process innovations (together with content experts)
    • Drive project management with respect to project planning, milestone tracking and status updates
    • Manage projects end to end i.e. align with corresponding stakeholder to ensure project buy in and support
  • Support innovation and change in the Apparel organization
    • Analyse need for smart solutions in the Apparel area
    • Research on fact findings and data analysis to support improvement ideas.
    • Identify solution options / scenarios and quantify general improvement potential
  • Support effective change management for process / structural changes
    • Develop training plan, material and schedule for sourcing tools / process implementation and conduct training sessions to stakeholders
    • Ensure newly implemented tools / processes are being rolled-out in a standardized way across the organisation and documented in appropriate materials
    • Follow-up on realisation of targeted benefits
  • Networking and self-development
    • Relationship mgmt. / networking within sourcing and supply chain community
    • Ensure continuous learning with respect to sourcing & supply chain trends

  • Good understanding of supply chain mechanics from sourcing to customer

  • Competent user of Microsoft Office suite
  • Fluent in English (oral and in writing)
  • Knowledge in raw materials management is a plus

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University Degree in supply chain management, business administration or similar
  • 5-8 years working experience for Project Manager and minimum 4 years experience for Senior Project Manager, ideally in sourcing / supply chain related function for fashion / consumer goods multinationals
  • Project management experience
  • Min 3 years working experience in multinational business environment
