Senior Retail Associate

In view of the current global pandemic related to COVID-19 and the increased visa and border restrictions, we are unable to extend offers to candidates who are not currently in the physical location where this role will be based. Purpose/ Mission:

To achieve store sales target by providing excellent customer service.

 

Accountabilities

 

Primary

  • Achieve individual and/or shared sales target assigned.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Build rapport and customer loyalty.
  • Proactively follow-up on customer queries and needs.
  • Responds positively to customer complaints.
  • Uses in-store interactive tools and product promotions to drive sales.
  • Commitment to team roster and positive attendance record.
  • Keeping abreast of latest sports news (or trends in fashion) in order to possess in-depth product knowledge and communicate to customers effectively.
  • Ensure that visual merchandising standards are adhered to all times.
  • To operate POS efficiently and maintain a high standard of accuracy.
  • Be presentable at all times in the selling area, adhering to grooming standards

 

Secondary

  • To keep the store environment clean, neat and tidy.
  • To replenish merchandise, conduct stock check and manage fitting room or stock room.
  • Adhere to company retail standards, operation procedure and policy.
  • Assist to coach and guide Retail Associates and new team members.
  • In some cases, assigned to assist in running of a store, deputy Store-in-Charge (SIC).
  • Assist to handle more complex retail operation tasks assigned by Superior.

Professional background/ Experience

  • Functional: 2-3 years experience in Retail / Sales
  • Industry: Preferably in apparel/ fashion/ FW or FMCG
  • Retail Exposure: Sports, Fashion

 

Education

  • Secondary / Certificate in Retail Management

  • Outlook: Intermediate
  • Word: Intermediate
  • Excel: Intermediate
  • Powerpoint: Intermediate

 

Language Skills

  • English: Fluent
  • Local Language: Good
