Senior Specialist, Assortment Planning, Brand adidas

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION:

Create and implement county store format plans for the designated wholesale channel by working closely with CTC RA, CTC category planning team and channel team to populate and deploy key Brand concepts in the marketplace.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  
•    Build the wholesale designated channel assortment plans by store format and/or account, as well as store grading
•    Focus on the designated wholesale channel assortment width while factoring efficiency & ASP to ensure Monthly Comp
•    Gathering collation of market landscape and competition intelligence (account / store format level)
•    Combines/validates category assortment plans from CtC category planning team, and finalizes into a holistic, full store format assortment plan (width only)
•    Output assortment plans for the wholesale designated channel store formats factoring regionalization needs
•    Integrate VM, OCM upfront into assortment building process and support creation of VM renderings
•    Handover the designated channel/account assortment plans to wholesale sales representatives (incl. BLR) for store level buying and depth completion.
•    Deliver store format assortment plan presentations to wholesale sales representatives at Band Merchandizing Week. (channel assortment planning handover meeting)
•    Keen understanding of channel specific nuances and market landscape.
•    Work in close collaboration with pertinent wholesale partners as needed 
•    Provide Country MOPS with sample needs by store format at trade meeting. 
•    Active participation in channel trade meetings to support the wholesale team as needed.
•    Ensure sign off with Senior Leadership Team (prior review and sign off required) on Assortment Strategy, Assortment Build, Best Seller mapping, Key story by month by tier execution, etc.
•    Regularly evaluate performance through Compliance & Take Ratio evaluation and present at Commercial meetings and Pre Buy/ Final Buy review as required
•    Collaborate with CTC CP of country samples (i.e. packing, unpacking, checking and display at showroom)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 
•    Exposure to other marketing disciplines preferable, e.g. merchandising, retail merchandizing or sales experience
•    Result-oriented; Strong numerical; analytical skills
•    Effective presentations to large audiences  
•    Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
•    Fluent communication skills in both English and Korean 

 

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Degree in Fashion/Business/Marketing Management preferred.
•    At least 3 years of product channel management experience with a recognized top tier brand in Sports/Fashion industry
