Senior Specialist, HR - COVID PMO - Limited Duration (Until End of Year)

PURPOSE  

More than managing tickets, case counts, and deliverables, the COVID Project Management Organization is about delivering genuine care and support to employees impacted by COVID-19.

Our team provides end-to-end assistance to adidas employees across North America who experience symptoms, test positive, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 while putting the employees we serve at the heart of everything we do. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Execute COVID-19 case intake, seek to understand, and provide direction to employees, close contacts, and business leaders in accordance with company and local guidelines.
  • Advise employees and key stakeholders (Human Resources, Business Leaders, etc.) on health and safety guidelines to continue prioritizing employee health and safety.
  • Manage ticketing (HR Systems and IT Interfaces) for COVID-19 cases and input positive and suspected cases into the team’s COVID-19 reporting tool.
  • Partner to ensure continuous, proper information flow and case processing in alignment with service level agreements (SLA’s).
  • Adhere to HIPPA, PIPEDA and legal regulations relating to employee health information.
  • Explore the Center for Disease Control (CDC) website weekly for COVID-19 updates.
  • Stay informed on COVID-19 processes, best practices, and state and local requirements.
  • Initiate notifications to employees based on state/local health department guidelines.
  • Escalate difficult or complex cases to the COVID-19 Project Manager, Loss Prevention, Human Resources Business Partner, and Sr. Human Resources Manager as necessary.
  • Collaborate directly with business leaders to communicate high risk or complex cases, opportunities for coaching, and gaps in knowledge in their business.
  • Support the COVID-19 Project Manager as needed.

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 
•    Four-year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with emphasis in human resource management, project management or psychology preferred.
•    2+ years’ generalist HR experience and/or Project Management experience required.
•    Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.
