Senior Specialist Delivery Excellence

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: 


Global Business Services (GBS) designs, builds and operates consistent end-to-end business solutions for adidas, delivering services in the areas of finance, non-trade procurement and human resources.  This drives operating quality and efficiency, better customer experience, company agility and decision making, and ensures the compliance and control environment.  This is enabled through consistent end-to-end processes, strong, globally consistent governance of solutions and services, state of the art technology and tools, creativity and continuous improvement. 


The specislist, Continuous Improvement will drive continuous improvement cross GBS Centers, across all global processes delivered there.  He or she will support the development of the strategy for Quality and Continuous Improvement and the prioritisation of initiatives based on impact on quality/customer experience and efficiency.  As a process improvement expert, the role holder will build process excellence solutions, play driver of assigned improvement project management, advise on best practice and drive a continuous improvement mindset across all operational teams, coaching and driving for results. 



Key Responsibilities:  


  • Drive and prioritize the continuous improvement cross GBS Centers align with GBS/GPO strategy in middle complexity scope.  

  • Support to deliver operational efficiencies, process standardization and harmonization in middle complexity scope 

  • Support to drive process excellence assessment cross centers/cross workstreams 

  • Support to best practice sharing cross centers/workstreams 

  • Design process excellence solutions of TOP AREAs by leveraging operational excellence or six sigma methodologies 

  • Play PM in low complexity of critical project to mange overall project quality and progress, and also play consultant architecture on proposal of solution design/target set up/methodology coaching.  

  • Play coach role in non-critical project to project team. 

  • Support Delivery excellence programs cross centers, i.e. efficiency program/Make as wish etc. 

  • Support to drive the continuous improvement mindset/culture across centers, training/tournament event etc.

  • GBS Delivery excellence global team 


Knowledge Skills and Abilities:  


  • Comprehensive understanding of E2E-processes in Global Business Services  

  • Extensive experience of Continuous Improvement methodologies (both theoretical and practical application) 

  • Experience of coaching operational teams with a clear guidance and in instructions  

  • Complete familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent tools 

  • Strong data analysis and RCA capability  

  • Knowledge of SAP FI and CO a plus 

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) 



Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:   


  • University degree or equivalent experience, preferable in accounting or business administration 

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the area of end-to-end process improvement and/ process standardization in Finance Area. 

  • Six Sigma Black Belt as plus
