Senior Specialist GBS H2R & Payroll (M/F) - Greek Speaker

adidas Shared Services delivers high quality services for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Retail Accounting, eCommerce Accounting and other Finance processes as well as HR Services for adidas companies located in Europe and Americas.

Within the framework of HR Services, we are providing excellent services and business competence regarding all HR Services related processes. As HR Services strives to combine competent and professional business partnering with a constant enhancement of services in an efficient and value-adding way, the role is vitally supporting this target by following key responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing general and more complex administration of HR Services tools, programmes, and processes on a local and partially European and global level.
  • Provide consultancy services and service excellence to the HR community regarding general and more complex issues.
  • Handle standard & complex inquiries & support through ticket service or via phone (if required) to employees, HR, Finance and third parties.
  • Create all kinds of HR documents along the employee life cycle such as employment contractual packages incl. mobility attachments, promotions, offboarding checklists etc. according to defined processes and standards.
  • Perform and oversee bulk document creation and distribution processes
  • Maintain personnel and organizational data according to defined processes and standards incl. mass uploads
  • Ensure digitalization of documents and ensure a proper and accurate handled archiving of documents according to defined standards and processes
  • Administrate the invoicing, billing, and recharging of costs for mobility benefits.
  • Administrate all type of local benefits (Ariba tool including)
  • Timely execution of standard and complex  employees time management tasks according to defined processes, schedules, and service levels in accordance with regional and local guidelines.
  • Transmit – on a daily and weekly basis- employee time management  data to internal stakeholders and Payroll Provider, perform time management attendance  validations and ensure Payroll Provider executes accurate payroll calculations based on correct time management information
  • Support the continuous improvement of time management  processes and the use of systems.
  • Support Manager HR and Payroll, SEE in Internal and External Audits
  • Participate regularly in workshops and meetings held by subject matter experts.
  • Act as a role model in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations as well as adidas’ Fair Play Code of Conduct and other internal policies and company agreement.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good level of affinity to and experience with Business computing solutions, ideally with SAP HR
  • Very good analytical skills and detail-oriented work style
  • Ability to work with high volume and transactional administration issues
  • Team player mentality
  • Strong customer focus and service minded
  • International mind-set
  • Ability to work under pressure as well as prioritizes and completes tasks in order of importance
  • Good understanding of Greek and Cypriot legal framework
  • Good knowledge of Ergani I and Ergani II systems


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University Degree or higher
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience, ideally within an international matrix organization
  • Excellent command of English and Greek
  • Strong experience with Business computing solutions, ideally with SAP HR tools
  • Strong knowledge of MS-Office applications
  • Specialized skills in HR/Payroll/Time Management area
  • Experience in working with Payroll Provider
