Assistant Manager Value Range Buying

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION:

Deliver FO & online events individual and monthly products assortment. Analyze daily and historical sell-through data to deliver the best store assortment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Buying Planning

 

  • Plan seasonal & monthly assortment per offline FO stores and online Douyin Daily sales & Mega events.
  • Plan and manage product launch flow according to Channels demand and store stock status.
  • Plan with logistics department shipment & delivery on schedule.
  • Analyse daily and historical sell-through data to deliver the best assortment per store.

 

Buying Execution

 

  • Support FO & online store managers, operations team and internal Planning team assortment needs per month.
  • Study market trend and industrial top sellers, work with Channels and BU on CCS new creation to bring a more efficient and competitive assortment range.
  • Analyse daily sell-through and adjust assortments and deliveries to ST results.
  • Actively participates to DTC channels KPI’s delivery.
  • Manage with DP and SCM/Sourcing on SNP FC phasing and order placement.
  • Manage with Logistics team on-time delivery of all assortments in accordance with store sell-in and sell-through targets, provide promotion and discount.

 

Post-Season Review:

  • Provide analysis and documentation for post-season review.
  • Provide seasonal deep dive analysis for offline FO stores and online Douyin Daily sales & Mega events.
  • Partner with X-function team to develop action steps for next season.

OMB Planning, OMB IST, BU, Retail & ECOM Operations team, DP, SCM, etc.

REQUISITE EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILL

 

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree required, with solid years in consumer industry with at least 3-5 years in merchandising / buying function
  • Prefer good Excel skills and ability to develop useful models/tools
  • Prefer good presentation and PPT skills
