As part of the Software Engineering team, you would join one of our workstreams (Order Management or Product Availability or Logistics | Fulfillment) and would Functionally Test software components for Functional, Performance and Regression defects through manual testing as well as through Automation, while being a part of one or more Agile teams. You will be working in the QA Capability, showcasing your creativity and using the latest technologies to bring ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Be part of the whole development cycle giving your testing mindset and viewpoints to build highly quality solutions
  • Analyze requirements and specifications and defines test conditions.
  • Designs test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting outcomes. Analyses and reports test activities and results.
  • Identifies and reports issues and risks associated with own work.
  • Ensure sufficient test coverage for various features via automation at different levels, including designing and implementing testing automation strategies for API and UI testing.
  • You are the key to creating fully automated test environments in an agile environment.
  • Participate actively in the Quality Chapter with new ideas, initiatives, and proposals to create assets and deliverables that can be useful through the whole company in terms of testing.



System Integration and Build

  • Accepts completed software modules, ensuring that they meet defined criteria.
  • Produces software builds from software source code for loading onto target hardware.
  • Produces integration test specifications, conducts tests and records and reports on outcomes.
  • Diagnoses faults and records and reports on the results of tests.
  • Produces system integration reports.


Release and deployment

  • Uses the tools and techniques for specific areas of release and deployment activities.
  • Administers the recording of activities, logging of results and documents technical activity undertaken.
  • May carry out early life support activities such as providing support advice to initial users.


Application support

  • Identifies and resolves issues with applications, following agreed procedures.
  • Uses application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics.
  • Carries out agreed applications maintenance tasks.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:


  • At least 3–5-year experience in software testing with exposure to the full product development cycle – from requirements through post-release.
  • Strong problem solving, test automation skills and hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, and/or Serenity BDD.
  • Exposure to Order Management applications like IBM Sterling OMS or Fluent Commerce or SalesForce CommerceCloud highly desired
  • Experience of working in an Agile Team and a Product led setup
  • Experience in using CI-CD pipelines
  • Exposure of working on collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence
  • Mindset to automate regardless of underlying technology
  • Domain knowledge and testing experience in Ecommerce and OmniChannel Order Management highly preferred
  • Motivation to never stop learning in the Omnichannel space
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in English preferred.
  • College or university degree with focus on IT or equivalent.
