Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

We are looking for a Software Test Lead to join us in our adidas tech hub.

Someone who will be in charge of leading the technical part at automation level and best practices at quality level for one of our most important projects, this person must have a solid experience as a technical reference and in the definition of successful strategies at testing level while also being a team leader and player.

Key responsibilities

Understand the business needs and translate them into a quality plan for the project.
Guide and lead the quality team in all issues related to planning, strategy, development and test execution.
Assess data generated by QA and production teams to identify trends and develop plans to drive improvement
Design, create and execute automated end to end and service level tests
Manage a team of externals engineers reassuring testing and quality assessments
Monitors and reports on the progress of development projects, ensuring that projects are carried out in accordance with agreed architectures, standards, methods and procedures (including secure software development)
Accepts responsibility for creation of test cases using own in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications (such as reliability, efficiency, usability, maintainability and portability)
Provides reports on progress, anomalies, risks and issues associated with the overall project

Minimum Qualifications:

Proficient spoken and written command of English
At least 7-year experience in IT
At least 5 years as a Test Engineer
At least 4 years as a Test Automation Engineer
At least 1 years as a QA lead or managing teams
Proficiency in Selenium Web Driver along with BDD
Proficiency in integration tests, service tests, with any tool such as: Postman, JMeter, Mocha, Jest, etc.
Knowledge in continuous integration and continuous delivery, with any tool such as: Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, etc
