Specialist Digital Activation

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • To build the adidas brand in digital channel as the best sports brand in Taiwan
  • Digital Implementation: to provide full support in the execution of marketing campaign in digital aspect
  • Processes: Input into and assist in the implementation processes that enable the digital team to follow the marketing plans
  • Budget: Follow the digital budget as set per the marketing plan

 

Key Responsibilities:

   
            Planning and Execution

  • Work close with line manager to assist in the development of the digital plan according to marketing strategy for adidas focusing on social media, digital initiatives & consumer activation to continuously build brand equity, and maximize the impact of brand campaign or product launch.
  • Monitor competitor and provide input to support marketing strategy against competitor
  • Support non-campaign products through own/earn social media platforms.
  • Analyze and evaluate campaign effectiveness with supporting data and references
     
    Financial
    Assist in the management of MWB spend reports and tracking sheets; follow internal finance procedures; on-going commitment and payment request forms management
     
    System and Processes
  • Develop digital content/material
  • Build with line manager a recommendation of digital content from global materials + recommendation on local adaptation
  • Establish close communication with global/APAC and GCA teams
  • Working closely with agencies and media for own budget & earned media
  • Assist in the development and monitor media plans – work closely with advertising/digital agency to create competitive media advantages for adidas and develop integrated and valuable media plan.
  • Develop close relationships with key partners
  • Get regular updates for adidas about any new media opportunities
  • Maintain a good understanding of the media market / prices
  • Execute the tracking system to continuously understand consumer insight/attitude and take-away of our completed program, help adidas to identify more business opportunity and adjust marketing strategy.
  • Assist in the development and execution of the digital plan; work with partners for project implementation
  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or Department Head

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese is a requirement
  • Strong knowledge and background of sports industry. 
  • Deep understanding of sports products – footwear / apparel
  • A passion for and an understanding of Taiwan and international sports (a sports enthusiast)

    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the marketing department of a global consumer goods brand or advertising agency serving global consumer goods brands
  • A university degree in Multi-media / Marketing or a related field is needed
