Specialist GBS H2R & Payroll (M/F) - UK
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Within the framework of HR Services, we are providing excellent services and business competence regarding all HR Services related processes. As HR Services strives to combine competent and professional business partnering with a constant enhancement of services in an efficient and value-adding way, the role is vitally supporting this target by following key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing general and more complex administration of HR Services, tools, programmes, and processes on a local and partially European and global level.
- Handle standard & complex inquiries & support through ticket service or via phone (if required) to employees, HR, Finance and third parties.
- Perform within the HR Services team all defined processes which are related to all employee life-cycle actions including mobility topics on a regional or global level.
- Create all kinds of HR documents along the employee life cycle such as employment contractual packages incl. mobility attachments, promotions, offboarding checklists etc. according to defined processes and standards.
- Perform and oversee bulk document creation and distribution processes
- Maintain personnel and organizational data according to defined processes and standards incl. mass uploads
- Ensure digitalization of documents and ensure a proper and accurate handled archiving of documents according to defined standards and processes
- Administrate all type of local benefits
- Support with reporting’s according to relocation, tax, and immigration data for national and international employee.
- Timely execution of standard and complex payroll tasks according to defined processes, schedules, and service levels in accordance with regional and local guidelines.
- Support the continuous improvement of payroll processes and the use of systems.
- Support Manager HR & Payroll Operations in Internal and External Audits
- Act as a role model in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations as well as adidas’ Fair Play Code of Conduct and other internal policies and company agreement.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good level of affinity to and experience with Business computing solutions, ideally with SAP HR
- Very good analytical skills and detail-oriented work style
- Ability to work with high volume and transactional administration issues
- Team player mentality
- Strong customer focus and service minded
- International mind-set
- Ability to work under pressure as well as prioritizes and completes tasks in order of importance
- Knowledge of UK and Ireland payroll regulation,
- Knowledge of UK and Ireland labour law
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Working towards or CIPD qualified
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience, ideally within an international matrix organization, especially into a UK payroll team
- Excellent command of English
- Strong experience with Business computing solutions, ideally with SAP HR tools
- Strong knowledge of MS-Office applications
- Specialized skills in UK HR or Payroll area
