Specialist Product Testing 30 hour per week (temp until May 31, 2026) (m/f/d)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

This role contributes to adidas’ mission to be the best sports company in the world by providing a high level of administrative support to the team of product testing professionals. This role is primarily responsible for handling physical testing samples and supporting product tests.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Sample Handling

  • Unpack samples and validate sample order details (e.g. size, inventory, art detail).
  • Confirm receipt of sample order in adidas Testing Portal (aTP).
  • Prepare samples for testing purposes (e.g. applying hangtags, folding, bagging, picking, packing, providing tracking details to testers).
  • Handle shipment to testers and return of samples.
  • Organize short- and long-term storage of product samples according to policy.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Follow service policies and procedures.

Product Testing

  • Assist in test preparation (e.g. printing surveys, packing wear test components).
  • Assist in test execution (e.g. setting up test equipment, taking pictures).
  • Create tests in adidas Testing Portal (aTP).
  • Update product tester data in central system.
  • Represent Testing with support of (Senior) Manager in seasonal briefings with Marketing and Development.
  • Allocate with support of (Senior) Manager appropriate level of perception tests (e.g. fit, wear, dynamic evaluation tests, high speed filming) based on intended use and consumer profile with counterparts from Development.
  • Execute tasks within given capacity by workload tool.
  • Assign appropriate questionnaire modules in partnership with external IT provider.
  • Plan and execute perception tests according to adidas’ Testing standards within timelines.
  • Analyze perception test results based on consumer feedback and product condition and assess risk level of claims and defective returns.
  • Write test reports with recommendations to Development and document those in the respective systems.

Device Management 

  • Maintain Testing facilities and devises.

Tester Pool 

  • Support recruitment new product testers through events and networking.
  • Support Revision of online applications for product testers and select suitable profiles.
  • Support maintainance product testers in central system.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Very good command of German and English both written and spoken
  • Good communication skills
  • High level of service orientation in dealing with internal and external stakeholders/customer
  • Good organizational skills with ability to priorizite multiple tasks
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Solution oriented mindset
  • Domestic travel required 2-4 times a year to attend meetings, tests or training sessions

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Commercial or technical apprenticeship with 3 years of relevant work experience
