Responsibilities:

 

Cross-category analysis

  • Work in close collaboration with the Operational Demand Planning team on the monthly RDP by looking from cross-category perspective and analyze vs market, consumer, and competitors’ research data
  • Identify opportunities to optimize the demand plan by product types, divisions and genders, price points
  • Holistic analysis of the demand from omni-channel and cross-category perspective
  • Present findings and drives actions with BUs, Channels and Operational Demand Planning
  • Deep dive into historical data to identify buying errors and propose solutions for course-correction
  • Reconcile the IBP vs the RDP to minimize inconstancies
  • Drives and supports the decisions related to buy and reorders

 

Marketplace insights:

  • Use Market research and consumer data to identify gaps, opportunities and risk in the range planning by working closely with CTC and Bus
  • Analyse the buy vs market research and consumer data and presents actionable proposals in a timely manner working with BUs, Channels and Operational Demand Planning team
  • Work with Business development to understand market and consumer trends and translate them into recommendations for better forecasting and buy
  • Observe the market regarding trends and changes, chances and risks and take required actions in alignment with the Bus/Channels
  • Identify opportunities for fast creation in collaboration with CCA, BUs, CTC and ODP in line with market trends
  • Work with Sales to understand customer insights and competitor’s performance
  • Work with D&A on understanding promotional activities impact on the demand to drive accurate demand phasing and projection, seize opportunities, or optimize future promotional plans
  • Analyze overall marketplace and come up with actions to ensure healthy inventory levels in collaboration with Operational Demand Planning, Channels, BUs and Marketplace management

 

Speed

  • Work with CTC and BU on identifying Speed articles candidates
  • Work with SCM and Sourcing on identifying opportunities for fast creation, capacity reservation
  • Maintain a speed articles rolling forecast
  • Work with Buying teams and ODP on validating Speed reorders

 

 

Project Management

 

  • Leads key Demand Planning Projects in close alignment with PMO and key stakeholders
  • Supports other Finance and Demand Planning Projects: IBP’25, FPS – Target Operating Model

Educational Background/ Minimum requirements:

 

  • Qualified to Master’s Degree level or equivalent relevant experience
  • 4+ years of work experience in Demand Planning or a similar field
  • 2-3 years management experience
  • Experience in the sporting goods industry preferred
