Sr Manager e-comm Planning and inseason Trading

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

 

This role is responsible for leading the in season and trading process that permit the e-commerce channel maximize top line and standard margin.  Also is responsible for maximizing the profitability of e-commerce in LAM by building and driving commercial and consistent strategies across countries + channels for stock (current and non-current) and pricing.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead in-season sales and receipt guidance and post-season hindsight to drive product category sales growth by season and product buy plans by season Drive daily merchandising KPI´s that permit the channel take actions to meet sales, margin, and inventory turn targets and category- level inventory receipt plans and markdown plans.
  • Supports Full Price & Off-Price decisioning to maximize sell thru and inventory usage.
  • Submit monthly financial guidance and forecasts to DTC Finance and Demand Planning.
  • Develop in-season forecasting; report on and analyze sales results to plan, making recommendations to influence business decisions.
  • Manage business trends to identify sales and gross margin performance and to capitalize on profit-driving opportunities.
  • Seek opportunities for new business processes and drive analytical needs to increase productivity and profitability.
  • Supervise and manage planning team, including prioritizing, assigning and directing workload, managing performance and development.
  • Responsible for market seasonal stock position assuring the right volumes are available on e-com and distribution centers and inform of changes to Allocation teams.
  • Lead market in-season trading, assuring timely sales forecast by product, stock intakes and in-season markdowns.
  • Lead conversation with DTC to harmonize stock between channels.
  • Lead Clearance process with Sr. Manager buying & trading and Demand Planning to execute a coordinated markdown strategy.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Ideally a Category player or high interest
  • Category business background
  • Good understanding of DTC Management systems and processes
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Structured, organised and process oriented
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Ability to guide, train, support a team
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Fluent in English (oral & writing)

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
  • 4 - 6 years’ experience in merchandising
  • 0 - 3 years’ experience in managing a team
