Sr Portfolio Manager HORIZONTAL Campaigns (TEMP 6 MNTH)

  1. General Purpose

As a Senior Portfolio Manager STUDIO A, your task is to manage a portfolio of projects. This includes capacity planning, structuring demand and delivering midscale creative projects, or sub-elements of large-scale digital projects. The project scope can be on a local or global level across brands and functions. Your objective is to ensure projects in your portfolio are conducted within the boundaries of time, cost & quality while focusing on consumers’ expectations and requirements. Planning, executing and tracking projects in cooperation with the respective functions and project team members are a few examples of what is expected from this role.

As a portfolio manager you will be the liaison between the business stakeholder and the creative/project team.



  1. Key responsibilities

Scope: Manage and deliver mid-scale digital projects on a local or global level


  1. Program & Project Management
  • Deliver projects end-to-end successfully, ideally through effective application of PMI/Agile methodology.
  • Develop detailed plans that allow providing transparency on progress and identifying risks on time.
  • Identify interdependencies with other projects and solve issues proactively.
  • Drive continuous improvement of products, processes or systems within the project scope.
  • Facilitate initial demand discussions and prioritization


  1. Resource Planning
  • Plan and monitor multi-functional team resources (internals and externals) to deliver and support projects.
  • Partner with STUDIO A Resourcing team to plan and organize the resources required to deliver the projects.
  • Collaborate with STUDIO A Production team to plan and shape scope and budget requirement for productions (shoot, post)


  1. Communication
  • Act as the key contact person for major local / global stakeholders.
  • Apply appropriate and effective communication methods to senior management and important stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and during the forecasting phases
  • As challenges and escalations arise within projects, identify solutions and drive their resolution in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Manage change within projects and ensure changes are smoothly and successfully implemented to achieve lasting benefits.


  1. Project Controlling
  • Manage project controlling as an independent element to ensure that actual project costs are in line the committed budget.
  • Validate if project deliver against program KPIs. (On Time In Full)
  • Manage the monitoring of project variables (cost, effort, scope, etc.) against plan and propose corrective or preventive actions.



  1. „If required“ Responsibilities
  • Agile Transformation Drive the implementation of elements of the transformation to full agile working mode and facilitate agile adoption.
  • Contribute to developing and orchestrating the demand & delivery process within DIGITAL.


  1. People Management
  • Create a supportive work environment in which employees are coached, trained and provided with career opportunities through development.
  • Provide team members/direct reports with clear direction and targets that are aligned with business needs and DIGITAL objectives.

  1. Requirements
  1. Education & Experience
  • University degree with focus on Business Administration, Communication or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years of in-depth experience related to project management or similar topics
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the ecosystem environment of the project area in scope
  • Experience in Finance is a plus
  • Experience working with stakeholders at various seniority levels as well as subject matter experts across various functions (business stakeholders, product and marketing teams, creative team, content producers, finance and operations team, legal team.
  • 1+ years of experience in leading a team of project managers

  • Very good communication skills, especially when interacting with different levels of business
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and untangle complex situations into actionable activities
  • Solutions-oriented approach and entrepreneurial mindset

  • Good leadership skills are required

  • Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required
  • Understanding of DIGITAL Culture
  • Solid experience in working with Marketing and Creative Industry
  • Good knowledge of Agile working methods e.g. Scrum/Kanban
  • Very good knowledge of PMI methods
  • Fluent English both verbally and written
