Sr. Director Omni Channel Operations

Purpose: 
The Sr. Director OMNI Channel Operations directs the horizontal OMNI Operations Team to ensure sustainable and profitable market share growth, reaching top line and bottom line objectives and leading the implementation of selected global strategic initiatives. Ensures integrity and continuous improvement of the Commercial strategic operations processes and achievement of overarching sales growth and profitability.  

 

Key Accountabilities:
•    Shape the Commercial sales strategy and drive the sales performance of the market sales teams. Lead go to market implementation of selected Global sales initiatives. Add commercial value to the market(s) regarding net sales and contribution. 
•    Establish the end to end strategic operations process for the Commercial Organization. Partner with Commercial leaders to streamlines processes and establish consistency across channels. 
•    Ownership of monthly, quarterly and yearly GTM process milestones and operations, ie. Volume to Value, Business reviews, etc. 
•    Create and own the Commercial calendar for deliverables and milestones. Act as the project oversite to unify the Commercial organization in order meet deadlines and hit targets. 
•    Ensure all involved functions are delivering their respective contributions to the key sales tools (e.g. AFB, StAPs and SAPs) through a scheduled annual cycle of calls and review meetings
•    Oversee the execution and project management of special initiatives across Commercial channels such as Speed, UPT, Trade Terms, etc. Ensure global alignment in local market execution.     
•    Establish a governance board to ensure all Commercial teams are following and applying sales strategies, policies and best practices.
•    Initiate a unified sales plan for the US market. Challenge, validate and input into the Market Strategy and track and monitor successful game plan implementation. 
•    Provide leadership and consultation for direct reports through the sharing of best practice techniques and mentoring fostering a people first culture.
•    Role model and live our Leadership Framework, drive on our ‘play to win’ culture through creativity, collaboration, and confidence.
•    Showcase compliance with the relevant laws and regulations as well as the adidas Fair Play Code of Conduct and other internal policies.
•    Champion diversity within the team and continue to build a culture of inclusion, belonging and awareness.

•    Thinks strategically, synthesizes complex data and develops creative and innovative solutions within an entrepreneurial environment.
•    Manage multiple priorities to accomplish assignments simultaneously under strict deadlines, while able to adapt to a changing business environment.
•    Strong business acumen as it relates to the commercial business, understanding and influencing retailer KPI’s. 
•    Strong presentation skills for efficiently and effectively communicating with senior executives, stakeholders, cross-functional business leaders, peers and customers.
•    Proven experience in promoting a fair and team-first environment, where everyone is empowered to openly contribute. 
•    Proven people management skills including influential leadership skills, coaching, motivating and developing large teams.
•    Excellent collaboration skills with proven project management skills both in approach and execution of large-scale projects.

 

Qualifications: 
•    Degree in Business Administration with focus on Sales or Marketing
•    Strong sales experience in multiple sales roles 12 years
•    Proven track record of influential leadership skills 
•    Minimum of 5 years management experience required
•    Cross-functional business experience (i.e. DTC, Marketing or Retail)
•    Industry-specific and global business experience preferred.
