Sr. Manager Range Architecture (Temporary 8 months)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:


Create an optimal Market Omni-channel range framework and work closely with the BU ranging teams and the Merchandising Assortment teams to populate and deploy key Brand concepts within it.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Working closely with LAM BUs and the Merchandising Assortment teams, define number of articles allocated (total, per category, per business segment, per product type, per price brackets, per concepts, per channel, per gender, per channels) guidelines for LAM and for individual Countries including model reduction targets and range overlap targets.
  • Provide range architecture inputs into Global CTC Merchandising
  • Ensure horizontal concepts/franchise implementation across BUs.
  • Ensure Brand Collection and Minimum Expression packages adoption
  • Create a seasonal / phasing framework aligned to consumer consumption peaks and category launch requirements
  • Closely co-operate with Global Brand teams (most importantly CTC, CTC Merchandising) to secure a best practice level of implementation of global brand and product strategy.
  • Brief all LAM creation needs into the Global Merchandising team to fulfil the Marketing and Activation Plans, including SMU’s.
  • Understand the LAM consumer retail environment including distribution points, share of buy, competitor ranges and pricing strategies       



  • Range size and efficiency (incl. overlap) at a LAM and Country level
  • Brand Collection and Minimum Expression Packs targets
  • Category Growth targets

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8 Years experience in Category Management/ Ranging/ Merchandising or account marketing / sales
