Purpose:

Increase brand credibility, excite & connect with our consumers through aunthetic branded content around the moments that matter to adidas, our partners and Gen Z via owned, earned and paid social media. Drive engaging conversation and connection to adidas‘ digital eco-system.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Support extending global market initiatives and campaigns to your market; ensuring activation plan localization and implementation across all owned, earned and paid social landscape
  • Brief the creative agencies for localized content and ensure all creative work is approved by Managing Editor
  • Work towards meeting KPIs and deadlines to meet business objectives and priorities with the respective stakeholder groups
  • Ability to translate consumer and internal needs and align internal stakeholders to drive relevant projects and workstreams
  • Optimize work and plans based on results and insights. Collaborate with other internal teams’ functions to reflect consumer insights to ensure agility and that the business can meet the plans laid out

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to function as a good team player for both internal and external partners through demonstration of adidas values
  • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills and high level of strategic thinking
  • High understanding and experience in owned, earned, and paid social landscape
  • Advanced knowledge of social analytics tools
  • Naturally curious and motivated by the ever-changing world of digital and mobile
  • Broad understanding of and passion for the sports and fashion / entertainment industry
  • Experience in project management – planning to execution
  • Advanced presentation and organizational skills
  • Understand the Editorial process
  • Japanese copywriting skills
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite of products

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, Retail, Digital or a related field sport, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in relevant Marketing fields
  • Advanced in English / Fluent in Japanese
