Assistant Manager Visual Merchandising Retail Activation, Brand adidas

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Support to ensure excellent implementation of own retail and wholesales marketing plans (Visual merchandising, commercial and membership activation instore communication) for own retail and wholesales doors. This role is responsible for maximizing store profitability by ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of the global visual merchandising direction in assigned stores.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise brand retail standard as well as at wholesale key doors
  • Deliver visual merchandising plans for retail and wholesales Doors in close collaboration with the retail, wholesales sales and country/cluster Assortment planning team
  • Support key wholesales account doors in given order of priorities
  • Ensure all retail space management solutions are partnered with the best point-of-sale with regular updates
  • Develop by door and concept -specific visual merchandising guidelines and drive consistency in execution across the entire market
  • Support to coordinate all visual merchandising services during project implementation and follow-up visits
  • Measure and report on retail space productivity and make recommendations to management for continuous improvement in managed spaces

 

  1. Visual Merchandising (VM)
  • Ensure store complies with global standards and guidelines to provide a leading shopping experience to all consumers
  • Implement visual merchandising plan by channel in alignment with global VM guidelines
  • Deliver visual merchandising plans for by concept by door in close collaboration with the retail buying team, wholesales sales team and country/cluster  assortment planning
  • Provide input in seasonal brand marketing calendar and reflect into the layout plan
  • Ensure all retail space management solutions are partnered with the best point-of-sale with regular updates

 

  1. Training
  • Train respective channel team and retail VM Coaches on global visual merchandising standards and guidelines, including mannequin stylings, folding techniques, steaming and merchandise presentation standards as well as the use of how products should be placed in-store

 

  1. Reporting
  • Keep up-to-date on competitor analysis as well as current and upcoming fashion trends across the store location area. Communicate information to country cluster senior manager
  • Identify and communicate store needs and best practices to country cluster senior manager
  • Other duties as requested by country cluster senior manager

 

 

KPI’s:

  • Retail net sales, Wholesales net sales
  • Sales per square meters
  • Sellout of in-scope wholesale accounts and projects
  • Return on marketing investment
  • Retail specific KPI such as traffic, conversion, average selling price based on initiatives
  • Membership acquisition and engagement based on initiatives

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in business or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ industry and / or relevant work experience 
  • Preferable experience / knowledge in visual merchandising
