Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • To drive profitable and sustainable market share and net sales growth in responsible key account(s) and main categories while respecting the image of the adidas Group brands
  • To take the role of key Category Sales Leader
  • Lead LSC entire business with leading others related department.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Represent the assigned account(s) internally as ambassador towards all functions and vice versa and manage all interfaces
  • Develop the overall strategy for responsible account(s) and main categories portfolio based on global and Market strategies jointly with Sr. Director Sales
  • (Guide/Support to) Negotiate and enforce adidas Group trade terms
  • Monitor and measure progress on team and individual KPIs
  • Report team and individual KPIs to Sr. Director
  • Make a decision with Sr. Director Sales to solve conflict within key account(s)
  • Establish appropriate process / framework to review challenge and sign off the Strategic Account Plans and Account Marketing Plans
  • Independently lead the cross functional project
  • Provide solutions on customer credibility / customer financial for midterm business with Sr. Director
  • Monitor/Report risk in organization to Sr. Director
  • SWB / Travel / Score / Timecard / Concur
  • Ensure/Develop customer compliance with agreements



  • Assign/Hire most suitable persons along with the framework set by VP and Sr. Director
  • Set clear objectives, targets, guidelines for sales organization along with Sales VP and Sr. Director
  • Provide performance review to all direct reports and team members
  • Develop the functional and social skills of direct reports on and all team members
  • Manage multiple teams in broader functional area, leads a department consisting multiple hierarchical levels
  • Ensure the KA organization applies adidas Group standards and best practices available in daily work

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • 5-7 years of functional experiences
  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experiences
  • Ideally in Apparel / Fashion / Shoes / FMCG
  • Exposure: Sports, Marketing, Account Marketing


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent experiences
  • English: Business level (mandatory training)
  • Japanese: Fluent
