Senior Manager Field Sales
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- To drive profitable and sustainable market share and net sales growth in assigned business account(s) and categories while respecting the image of the adidas Group brands
- To take the role of brand account leader
- To take the additional role of Category Sales Leader / Category Sales Member
Key Responsibilities:
Functional:
- Develop the overall strategy for responsible account(s) and focus category for Wholesale portfolio based on global and Market strategies jointly with superiors / subordinates
- (Guide to) Negotiate and enforce adidas Group trade terms to achieve accounts PL target
- Be able to manage account relationships by solving conflict within key account(s).
- Ability of problem solving in account management in particularly product portfolio, and digital business.
- Be able to follow required timeline, process and framework to develop Strategic Account Plans and Account Marketing Plans
- Be able to make realistic SI, ST plans and forecasts on customer performance for daily business
- Report financial risk relating to inventory and payment with proposal.
- Monitor and measure progress on team and individual business KPIs; Report team and individual KPIs to (Sr.) Director if business risk or personnel risk are identified.
- Represent the assigned account(s) internally as ambassador towards all functions and vice versa and manage all interfaces
- Coordinate and support cross functional project.

- Ensure/Develop customer compliance with agreements
Personnel:
- Assign most suitable persons along with the framework set by Sales VP and Sr. Director
- Set clear objectives, targets, guidelines for sales organization along with (Sr.) Director
- Provide performance review to all direct reports and team members
- Develop the functional and social skills of direct reports on and all team members
- Manage a team in broader functional area, leads a department consisting multiple hierarchical levels
- Ensure the organization applying for adidas Group compliance and best practices

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Above 4 years of sales functional experiences
- Above 2 years of managerial experiences
- Ideally from Apparel / Fashion / Shoes / FMCG industry
- Exposure: Sports, Marketing, Account Marketing
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent experiences
- English: Business level
- Japanese: Fluent
