Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

 

  • Drive the expansion of the new global Global Business services in Region North Asia with the management of the transfer of accounting responsibilities into the GBS location.
  • Manage a smooth hand over of all relevant accounting activities from the local accounting of an adidas subsidiary to the targeted GBS locations.
  • Organize the changes in processes and technique to ensure the harmonized service delivery model of GBS
  • Facilitate quality, efficiency and cost reductions in HQ Finance.
     
    Key Responsibilities and General Accountabilities:
  • Plan and coordinate full transition incl. escalation and issue management
  • Manage all transition related communication in close cooperation with the global GBS project governance team
  • Lead of the inbound and outbound transition team and create a motivational working environment
  • Ensure complete accounting knowledge transfer from local accounting team to the GBS team (workshadowers)
  • Effective use of established transition tools and methods
  • Drive the exception decision process to prompt closure
  • Aggressively drive the change and issue log to prompt closure
  • Coordinate the efforts of the inbound and outbound transition managers
  • Manage  transition related T&E costs to budget
  • Ensure that criteria for Transition Readiness, Cutover and Final Sign-off are met in a timely manner
  • Ensure the tracking and achievement of Project KPIs leading up to and at Final Sign Off
  • Support the change management by giving advice to the local management
  • SLA Lead between Inbound and Outbound Managers
  • Any other duties deemed to fall within the TM role, which may arise in the course of a transition.

  • Strong project management skills and experience
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Ability to coach, guide and manage teams
  • Cultural awareness and working in international environment
  • Fluent communication in English
  • Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of SAP FI is an advantage
     
     
    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
     
  • University degree with major in accounting/IFRS and at least one practical work experience in accounting
    or
  • Equivalent experience through a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the area of accounting
  • Ideally experiences in operational accounting in shared service centers
