Senior Specialist GTM

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

Assisting the Manager and Director GTM in managing the business success of the category by developing and implementing a robust category plan, within the strategic framework set by European BU & following Cluster Central Europe business priorities. The responsibilites will circle around the Category of Running & Specialist Sports.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:  

 

GTM:

  • Support & co-responsibility for a local category marketing plan (GTM plan) in line with the EU & Global strategic objectives for the dedicated product division
  • GTM plan contains product, distribution, communication & activation tools, sports marketing, omnichannel & Key City perspective
  • Builds up expertise for selected product divisions within the Category and starts to act as the first go to person for the divisions

 

Collaboration & Process:

  • Act as overall contact person for Sales as well as cross functional marketing teams for category related questions
  • Support the team to develop the category plan and support handover to Sales during Sales & Marketing meetings (SMM)
  • Supports the efficient execution of the sample order process
  • Engage with a x-functional group of category experts from different marketing & sales teams (“category/master-groups”) to support the creations and execution of the category GTM plan

 

Commercial & Analytics:

  • Learns to build up a “full marketplace” attitude (ALL countries & channels: DTC, WHS, X-border accounts)
  • Supports the successful sell-in process (from Category input, over pre-lines to sell-in meetings of identified strategic accounts)
  • Supports the development of distribution and segmentation strategies to successfully manage key franchises in the Cluster (MRA tiering, Allocation)
  • Starts working with available market data to help the team building dedicated product division plans (e.g. NPD data)

Requisite Education and Experience/Minimum Qualifications 

  • University degree in business administration, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 2 years experience in sales, marketing and / or communication
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • IT skills: Outlook and Word: basic; Excel and PowerPoint: advanced
  • Openness to work with hybrid teams (remote teams)
