Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

As a Project Manager in adidas DPC market organization your task is to manage and deliver mid-scale digital projects, significant RFCs or sub-elements of large-scale digital projects. The project scope is on a regional level across brands and functions. Your objective is to conduct the projects within the boundaries of time, cost & quality while focusing on consumers’ expectations and requirements. Planning, executing and tracking projects in cooperation with the respective functions and project team members are a few examples of what is expected from this role. Additionally, you will be focusing on resource management, vendor management and coordination activities, acting as the central interface to project stakeholders.

 

This role is key for the development of the Partner Program (i.e. marketplace business model), which is a new sales channel for our eCommerce business in Latin America. 

The Business Operations Manager will lead the optimization of all operational processes within the Partner Program team, supporting the strategy, framework, design, and implementation of all operational processes for the Partner Program in Latin America. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the design of operational processes within the Partner Program team, supporting the strategy, framework, design and implementation of all operational processes for the Partner Program in Latin America. 
  • Lead Partner and Vendor on-site testing and integration prior to Go-Live, ensuring all Operational requirements are in place.
  • Lead Partner and Vendor enhancements to improve the current Partner Program operation
  • Manage and execute the end-to-end Partner Program Operational process, including Order Fulfilment, Shipping and Handling and Carriers Management. 
  • Support the Business Development Manager, Partner Program with Integrator Vendor ownership to ensure integration with adidas group policies.
  • Act regularly as a business partner and system consultant to Partner Program colleagues.
  • Create a strategy for partnership with the eCom Digital Merchandising team, maintaining clear roles and responsibilities, KPIs and SLAs agreed to ensure all Partner Program Master Data tasks are completed.
  • Identify and solve issues with the product data for Partner accounts and capture all requirements
  • Coordinate improvements and Partner Program specific requirements to the product master data template
  • Coordinate and Manage our Order flow process with eCom Order fulfillment team
  • Provide clear visibility about Operational planning to Distribution Center across LAM countries
  • Support new partners assessment and lead end-2-end Operational testing
  • Define and create an operational operating rhythm with new live accounts with all LAM and Country team stakeholders (example: account manager, local Distribution Center, Customer Service and eCom Order Fulfillment teams)
  • Re-conciliation Partner Program process to secure the correct handover with GBS & Countries.

  • Strong MS office skills, with an emphasis on Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and in writing, to interact effectively and efficiently across departments with various levels of management
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken), other languages are a plus (Portuguese)
  • Ability to be detail oriented and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing business processes and business partners
  • Aptitude for learning new software applications
  • Preferably with knowledge of SAP, WMS and middleware providers.

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • University degree in business administration, engineer, information technology or similar discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce, Supply chain management, project management knowledge and experience.
  • Strong experience managing the entire product lifecycle
  • Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams.
