Analyst SCM Performance Management (Inbound)

 

Role Purpose

The team is part of Supply Chain Development EU and drives end-to-end supply chain performance excellence through business insights and data-driven decision making.

This role strengthens the analytical backbone of EU Inbound by developing and evolving cross-functional reporting and projection frameworks that consolidate complex data sources and reflect operational realities, including exceptions and scenario logic.

Beyond visibility, the role contributes to KPI governance, performance gap identification, structured RCA, process improvements, and ways-of-working optimization. Through scalable analytics and forward-looking simulations, the position enables consistent decision-making across inbound planning, transportation, DC operations, and system transitions (e.g., S4EU).

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve KPI frameworks, dashboards, and projection logic (including continuous enhancements to the Inbound Projection model) in collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Rebuild and modernize existing reporting logic into automated Power BI and SQL models
  • Support inbound-related system transitions and initiatives (e.g., S4EU), ensuring continuity and accuracy of reporting and performance logic
  • Apply predictive and AI-supported analytical methods where they add measurable value to inbound performance and decision-making
  • Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) to identify performance drivers and recommend measurable improvement actions

Soft skills

  • Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clearly defined analytical problems and structured solutions
  • Communicates complex logic clearly, challenges assumptions constructively, and manages stakeholder expectations
  • Ownership-driven contributor who independently moves defined workstreams forward and follows through
  • Continuously improves existing logic and processes, seeking scalable and efficient solutions

Hard skills

  • Strong analytical and process-thinking capabilities
  • Intermediate SQL (queries, joins, aggregations), with the motivation to deepen skills
  • Hands on experience with Power BI (data modeling, visuals; DAX is a plus)
  • Experience with scenario modeling and simulations
  • VBA, Python, R are a plus

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis preferably in supply chain management
