Analyst SCM Performance Management (S/4HANA Migration) – Temp until August 2027

Role Purpose:

As part of the EU Supply Chain Development organization, the SCM Performance Management team drives endtoend performance excellence by enabling datadriven decision making, ensuring operational efficiency, and elevating the consumer experience.

With the upcoming migration from SAP AFS to S/4HANA, we are launching a major transformation of our performance management reporting landscape. To ensure a seamless transition, the analysts will support the splitoperations process: rebuilding existing reports on the new S/4HANA data foundation, validating KPI consistency, performing gap analyses, and ensuring that all performance insights remain accurate, reliable, and actionable.

This role is critical to safeguarding business continuity during the migration and ensuring that our Power BI and Databricks reporting ecosystem remains robust, trusted, and futureready.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be a key contributor to the successful migration of SCM performance reports to S/4HANA. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and performance managers to ensure that KPIs, metrics, and insights produced from the new system match the quality and reliability of the existing landscape.

You will analyse data discrepancies, document logic, test new reporting outputs, and support the alignment of requirements across multiple teams. Your work will directly influence the accuracy of operational and strategic decisionmaking across the EU supply chain.

Detailed Activities:

Migration & Split Operations

  • Rebuild existing SCM performance reports on S/4HANA data sources using Power BI and Databricks.
  • Perform detailed gap analyses between AFSbased and S/4HANAbased reports to ensure KPI consistency and data accuracy.
  • Validate endtoend data flows, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues.
  • Support the definition, documentation, and alignment of KPI logic, data transformations, and reporting structures.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Execute structured testing cycles for migrated reports, including regression testing, UAT, and scenario validation.
  • Document test results, defects, and resolutions; ensure timely followup with relevant teams.
  • Ensure that migrated reports meet business requirements and deliver reliable insights.

Split Operations & Hypercare

  • In preparation for the Split Operations phase of the S4EU rollout in Europe, support the SCM readiness for the cutover phase of the project.
    • Campus South will cease operations for some days and, after the system migration is completed, it will take over fulfilment of all orders to Italy, France, Spain and Portugal. Supporting SCM readiness before, during and after the cutover will be critical part of the job.
    • You will support the workstreams that are essential for the project’s success, such as simulation of end-to-end SCM flows from DC to consumers, aimed at mitigating service-level gaps that result from the cutover, etc. This role will also support the teams driving product availability at Campus South, which will be a key commercial success factor to minimize net sales impact.
  • Once the cutover is complete, you will support the hypercare phase of Split Operations. This phase will involve a wide array of experts and your role will be to support monitoring of end-to-end SCM performance. You will identify the gaps that impact business operations and customer experience.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with EU SCM teams, Global D&A, Transportation, DC Ops, and other crossfunctional partners.
  • Facilitate discussions with managers and subjectmatter experts to clarify requirements and validate outputs.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and findings clearly and proactively.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Create and maintain documentation for KPI definitions, data logic, and report structures.
  • Support reporting automation and enhancements to improve efficiency and usability.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to SCM functions on new S/4HANAbased reporting.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes during and after migration.
  • Contribute to the development of a stable, scalable, and futureproof performance management ecosystem.
