Assistant Manager Digital Analytics

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Assistant Manager, Digital Analytics to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating business processes, building robust analytical solutions, and transitioning manual workflows into scalable, automated ETL solutions. This role requires hands-on expertise in data analytics, ETL development, and BI front-end development to support the business in deriving insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  

  • Process Automation: Design and implement automated workflows to streamline data processes.
  • ETL Development: Migrate Excel-based solutions into efficient ETL pipelines using Python.
  • BI Front-End Development: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Lakehouse Integration: Work with Lakehouse-based platforms such as Databricks to enable seamless data integration and analysis.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency of data across systems.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

Technical Skills:

  • High proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and workflows.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools like Power BI or similar (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
  • Familiarity with Databricks or other Lakehouse platforms is a strong plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering practical, scalable solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.

 

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Fluent in English.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

 

  • University degree in the field of Business, Finance, Engineering or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Analytics (preferably with a focus on ETL, automation and Python).
  • Experience in eCommerce/retail environment is a plus.
