Assistant Manager Platform Operations - Temporary 18 Months

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- Support the development of the Partner Program (marketplace business model), Partnership Marketing (B2B Voucher Sales) & Gift Cards sales channels within our Digital Partner Commerce business in Europe.
- The Platform Operations team acts as a central vendor management pillar for three areas within the Digital Partner Commerce Business: Partner Program, Partnership Marketing & Gift Cards.
- The Assistant Manager Platform Operations will be supporting the daily operations and improving operational processes that help us deliver on our strategy with Partner Program, Partnership Marketing, and Gift Cards business. This in collaboration with key stakeholders in the different functions throughout the company.
Role & Responsibilities:
Platform Operations: - Working closely with the Platform Operations team, executing & monitoring operational processes in accordance with overall methodology in collaboration with key stakeholders in the different functions throughout the company:
- Develop strong relationships with the Partner Program team (Trading counterparts)
- Support on the end-to-end order management ensuring that all orders are updated across all MWP (Middleware provider) platforms by checking the relevant systems, tackling the issues, and enhancing the processes and system behaviour.
- Monitor and improve the daily operations with key focus on achieving operational KPIs (around cancellation rate/dispatching rate/delivery & return performance/consumer service) to ensure we meet our and partners’ targets.
- Work closely with the team in ensuring partner performance is on track and support mitigation of seen challenges.
- Work closely with the (Senior) Manager Platform Operations, supporting operational processes and enquires coming from internal and external stakeholders.
- Acts regularly as a business partner and system consultant to Partner Program colleagues.
- Lead business improvements and internal alignment processes within the Partner Program team to enable the team to manage this fast-growing and complex business efficiently and to scale.
- Support on the Partner Program financial reconciliation process and drive partner communication for missing documentation.
Partnership Marketing \ Gift Cards:
- Develop strong relationships with the Partnership Marketing and Gift Card teams.
- Drive the different financial processes within the Partnership Marketing team. Establish and maintain the full invoicing processes from generating PO`s, requesting invoices, tracking the respective status.
- Drive the Partner Invoicing cycles for the Gift Cards team. Establish a sustainable operating model with the Commercial Team & Finance.
- Work closely with finance teams to ensure that in/outgoing cashflows are recognized within the Partnership Marketing & Gift Cards Team as well as the wider eCom organization.
- Proactively identify areas of improvements and opportunities to develop new processes that increase efficiency and facilitate business operations.
- Constantly support the team with daily operational challenges.
- Assist with ad-hoc requests and new projects.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Extremely strong organizational, communication & planning skills - flexibility to handle multiple tasks and business partners. Ability to work in deadline driven environment.

- Strong Excel skills and high proficiency in spreadsheet analyses. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and passionate about deriving business insight from financial data, improving financial and business processes, and solving problems.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor/master’s in business, Finance, Economics or related field
- 2+ years professional experience (experience in digital/eCommerce, business development, operations or finance).
- Experienced in working with internal and external stakeholders to establish efficient and scalable processes
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required; at least one other European language would be beneficial
