Assistant Manager SEO Offsite
As an Assistant Manager SEO at adidas your role is to drive organic traffic to adidas EU eCom through offsite SEO initiatives. You work with internal and external partners to leverage the power of the adidas brand to grow organic traffic and present the impact of SEO projects to wider stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Scope: Contribution to specific deliverables or services
SEO
- Working with internal stakeholders to develop and action on digital PR strategies that drive organic traffic growth
- Leveraging the power of adidas brand and commercial partners to gain high quality backlinks
- Getting stakeholder buy in for the SEO offsite strategy
- Onsite SEO initiatives to maximise the effectiveness of backlinks such as internal linking or redirects
- Working with internal and external partners to run content marketing campaigns to drive traffic and high-quality backlinks
- Working with internal teams to execute on key commercial and brand campaigns such as Black Friday
- Driving installs of adidas Apps through App Store Optimisation
Analysis
- Measuring and reporting results of SEO activities and specific projects and communicating these to wider stakeholders
- Using search data to create insights that guide decision making of other teams such as PR, Sports Marketing and Business Units like Running and Football.
Collaboration & Consulting
- Be able to explain the impact of SEO on business objectives
- Work with brand marketing teams in your market to ensure SEO success of commercial and brand campaigns and editorial content
- Work cross-functionally with global and market teams to create synergies, address opportunities and drive revenue.
Best Practices & Toolsets
- Utilize best practice toolsets and frameworks that allow continuous optimisation of organic traffic.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Soft-Skills
- Good communication skills, comfortable presenting in person and remotely
- Ability to efficiently work in a cross-functional organization, ability to develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders from digital and non-digital disciplines on all levels
- Creative and energetic team player who has a passion for SEO
Hard-Skills
- Experience with SEO tools such as Keyword Planner, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and Ranking tools
- Experience with reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console and Adobe Omniture
- Understanding of the importance of offsite SEO and the strategies needed to be successful in offsite SEO
- Experience of conducting SEO backlink audits, digital PR and content marketing campaigns
- Fluent English, both verbally and written
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in SEO, in-house or at a leading digital agency
- University degree in the field of Business or equivalent
- Experience with digital marketing in a brand environment
- Experience working with digital PR teams
- Experience in eCommerce environment
