Business Analyst

 

PURPOSE AND OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION: key internal expert for reporting systems, data processes, and business performance visibility. Creating and managing operational dashboards and analytics that support decision-making, improve transparency, and drive operational excellence across the supply chain.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the quality, accuracy, and availability of reporting data.
  • Govern the reporting landscape, with a strong focus on Power BI tools and practices.
  • Translate global reporting templates to fit market-specific needs.
  • Develop and enhance operational reporting for key supply chain processes, focusing on critical KPIs and metrics.
  • Provide analytical support to ensure transparency of key priorities (e.g., product launches, speed models, strategic events).
  • Collaborate with process leads and owners to implement reporting improvements and communicate changes to key stakeholders.
  • Investigate issues in supply chain processes and work cross-functionally to suggest solutions.
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis to support strategic and tactical business needs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify reporting gaps and process inefficiencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong experience with Power BI and other reporting tools is essential.
  • Experience working with supply chain planning and execution software.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate at multiple organizational levels.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, matrixed environments.

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Information Systems, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in reporting, analytics, supply chain operations, or business planning.
  • Prior experience with Power BI and other data visualization tools is required.
