Purpose:
Director SCM Planning will have the critical responsibility of providing cross-functional direction and leadership to optimize utilization of Supply Chain Product Flow process and to ensure aligned strategies and execution between the EMEA SCM and internal channel management teams to drive successful achievement of business targets.

Key Responsibilities: 
•    Develop medium- and long-term strategic direction for Product Flow Planning mapped with channels and Warehouses capacity plans; and work with team managers to execute strategy/initiatives
•    Lead one SCM Plan and enable general planning over clusters and zones, within Europe Sales and Operation process
•    Ensure that ‘demand’ of Channels/Cluster/Customers will be fulfilled by on time and in full delivery
•    Ensure alignment with Key partners from the market and global to steer achievement of targets
•    Deliver a centralised, efficient and consistent Buy Budget tracking mapped against Warehouse capacity plans and IBP commitments, recommending solutions to address potential short falls and service gaps.  
•    Support Inventory/SKU management activities to keep healthy inventory levels utilization.
•    Work cross functionally with Product Supply, Inbound-/Fulfillment Center Planning, Market Operations & Optimization and FC Ops functions to ensure SCM readiness to deliver Sales plans. 
•    Enable efficient launch of new systems (S4). 
•    Guarantees frequent and comprehensive best in class reporting, metrics, SLAs, and communication to all process stakeholders by considering concerns, changing business requirements, and capacity enhancements.
•    Provides leadership and direction to a cross-functional team, setting goals and ensuring the effective alignment of resources to achieve targets.
•    Attracts, motivates, develops, engages, rewards, recognizes and retains a diverse team of Supply Chain professionals.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
•    Strong knowledge of supply chain mechanics and flow of goods from sourcing to customer, as well as business processes and interdependencies.
•    Demonstrated strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
•    Strong analytical and computation skills and ability to root-cause, problem solve and drive solutions. 
•    Good planning and organizational skills, ability to convert complex and complicated things into understandable and concrete call for actions
•    Motivating and leading complex teams
•    Polished and articulate with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills demonstrated by the ability to influence, communicate, and lead at both tactical and strategic levels.
•    Advanced MS Office (Excel/Access, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) is a must
•    SAP knowledge.
•    Power BI is a plus.
•    Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skills
•    Ability to challenge the way in which things are done
•    Fluent in English (written and oral); excellent communication skills

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 
•    College or university degree with a focus Supply chain management, Post graduate level preferred; alternatively, equivalent combination of education and related work experience in the field of Finance planning, Logistics, Footwear and/or Apparel
•    Minimum of 7 years of work experience, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Finance controlling/Planning environment within the footwear and apparel industry
•    Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing people
