Internship - Digital Consumer Experience Design - AMS (M/F/D)
Join adidas as a UX/UI Design Intern in our Digital Experience Design team!
As a UX/UI Design Intern in the adidas Digital Experience Design team, you’ll contribute to creating seamless, cross-functional digital experiences. Working closely with experience design specialists, content strategy, and product teams, you’ll help design consistent and engaging experiences end-to-end.
UX/UI: As a UX/UI designer, you will bring ideas to life in the form of sketches, concepts, and high-level prototypes. You will also support testing and validating these concepts and solutions to ensure they deliver the desired user experiences. Your focus will be to co-design experiences that will maximize consumer engagement, conversion, and advocacy for adidas.
GROW YOUR CAPABILITIES THROUGH MEANINGFUL TASKS & PROJECTS
You will support complex digital experience design projects from discovery and first drafts to designing, prototyping, and testing created solutions. All our designs have the consumer at heart, so you will be applying consumer data and insights and supporting the creation of wholesome consumer journeys.
- Provide hands-on UX/UI design support creating experience blueprints, and contribute to evolving design frameworks.
- Support designers in utilizing consumer insights and analytics data to help understand the value drivers for the consumer.
- Contribute to experience design concepts that address consumer value propositions.
- Create prototypes to enable user testing and refine design solutions.
- Contribute to the design of user interfaces across devices based on input from the team, brand guidelines, and consumer insights, ensuring brand consistency and usability.
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A MATCH
- Student with a focus on User Experience Design, Communication and multimedia design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Digital communication design, or a similar field.
- Basic knowledge of design & wireframing tools—Figma preferred. If you intern with us, you will be using Figma on a daily basis.
- Experience with task management systems (JIRA, Trello, Asana) or willingness to learn.
- Creative, positive, and proactive team player with a passion for user-centered design.
- Structured, organized, and process-oriented, with an analytical mindset.
- High resilience and a solution-oriented attitude.
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong MS Office skills
- Fluent in English both verbally and written
- Ability to work from the Amsterdam office 3 days a week.
- Affinity with sports is welcome!

ELIGIBILITY
- Enrolled as a full-time student for the complete duration of the internship.
- Or in the so-called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations).
- Candidates in the penultimate year of study are preferred (following the internship, students should have a maximum of one year to graduate).
- Availability for the full duration of the internship, from March 2026 to September 2026.
- Local to Amsterdam/Ability to relocate to Amsterdam for the full duration of the internship.
