Junior Key Account Manager

Purpose:

To develop & grow sustainable market share growth within assigned account portfolio and categories aligned to brand strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the account(s) internally as an ‘ambassador’ towards all functions and vice versa, supporting communication where appropriate.
  • Plan and deliver impactful customer sell-in appointments with clear objectives.
  • Manage customer orderbook to drive timely conversion and improve supply chain efficiencies.
  • Support to determine monthly and quarterly forecasts by account to deliver against.
  • Review/monitor sell out data to support decision making and future planning.
  • Build, update and drive Strategic Account Plans with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support Marketing with creation of marketing plan, ensuring strong brand presentation.
  • Establish close collaboration with all key functions.
  • KPI: Grow market shares within assigned account portfolio and categories
  • KPI: Deliver net sales targets / forecasts

 

Key Relationships:

  • Customer/account(s), Sales, Sales Development, Business Unit, Marketing, Account Operations and Credit Management

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Understanding of the sports industry and consumer
  • Commercial awareness & business acumen
  • Sales experience within retail / sport sector
  • Customer focus and able to build strong relationships
  • Strong organisation skills and ability prioritise tasks
  • Able to work on own, within a team and cross-functionally
  • Strong communication skills: written and oral
  • Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Full driving license
  • Able to travel as part of role, within Europe & UK

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • College or university degree with a focus on Sales, Fashion or a related field; or comparable experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years relevant working experience.
  • Preferably Apparel/Footwear – Fashion & Lifestyle experience required
