Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

  • For adidas, the Digital Sales (DS) department is focused on winning market share in the digital multi-brands destinations and marketplaces our consumers are shopping. 
  • Our Partner Program team operates our marketplace business model completing the product offer at these key destinations to reach more consumers and ensure an optimal product offer is available wherever consumers choose to shop.
  • The Manager Partner Acceleration will play an active role in the growth of the Partner Program business across Europe bringing new partners and capabilities to our portfolio and looking for new opportunities to accelerate our live business.
  • They will be instrumental in driving the end-to-end process of integrating accounts, rolling out new capabilities and establishing new processes within Partner Program, with significant exposure to account C-level employees & internal adidas stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage a new partner roll out process end to end, including new account kick-offs, middleware provider coordination, commercial and contractual agreement negotiation, technical implementation.
  • Confidently articulate what the Partner Program is to potential accounts, with a clear focus on what mutual benefits it would offer.
  • Manage a new capability roll out process end to end including internal and external stakeholders’ alignment, business case creation and technical implementation.
  • Manage the execution and completion of the defined project plan by effectively coordinating people and resources.
  • Partner with the Global IT & Global Digital teams to ensure the timely delivery of assigned projects.
  • Monitor and highlight any project variables (cost, effort, scope, etc.) against the project plan and implement corrective or preventative actions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to define the Integration and Enhancement (Product) Roadmap including but not limited to new partner integrations, market extensions, Digital & Omni channel capabilities and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with key Digital stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities to support company and Partner Program strategic choices.
  • Translate business opportunities into business cases, process mappings and project timelines.
  • Establish new processes and workflows to support Partner Program growth by presenting team needs and aligning actions with the internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively suggest new go-to-market approaches or implementation process improvements.
  • Drive multiple projects & integrations simultaneously across Europe.
  • Collaborate with several key internal stakeholders, including Global IT, Global Digital, Legal, Finance, Wholesale sales, Operations & Logistics, eCommerce
  • Collaborate with several key external stakeholders, including the respective partner’s commercial, marketing, legal, finance, logistical teams & our middleware providers.
  • Ensure a seamless handover between Partner Acceleration and Partner Program Trading, Partner Operations and Product Launch & Optimization teams.
  • Work closely with Senior Partner Acceleration manager supporting strategic projects and key decisions.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

 

  • 3+ years professional experience (experience in Digital/eCommerce, business development, platform management, project management).
  • Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver complex projects.
  • Experience in managing ecommerce and digital projects on a global & market level.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required; at least one other European language would be beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field.
