Manager T4RM eCom Buying, Planning & Trading - Temporary until 30th September 2026

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

This temporary role is dedicated to provide support to the entire eCom Buying, Planning & Trading department on cross-functional and transformational initiatives, with a particular emphasis on testing, implementing, and scaling of new ERP (SAP) solution. The primary objective is to assist the EU eCom Buying, Planning & Trading department in achieving its mandate to optimize sales, profitability, and sell-through from an assortment and consumer point of view, through the transformational journey of implementing the new ERP (SAP) solution.

 

As Manager T4RM Buying, Planning & Trading, you will play a crucial role in delivering one of the company’s biggest transformational programs (ERP-system migration), called T4RM (“TRANSFORM”).

The T4RM program is one of adidas’ key strategic initiatives and aims to upgrade some of the core systems and processes underpinning our business to ensure our tools and operations are future-proof and ready to support us to achieve our growth ambitions.

The T4RM program spans across all our sales channels, including Retail, Wholesale and Digital/E-com. In this role, you will be supporting the Digital/E-com channel with a strong focus from a Buying, Planning, Trading point-of-view.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

 

  • Your core responsibility is to drive the Testing & Training workstream for our e-com and Digital Partner Commerce channels. Coordinating, executing, pushing and tracking Testing & Training activities in cooperation with the T4RM (ERP) project team and the respective business functions are a few examples of what is expected from this role.
  • Your objective is to ensure that the system landscape changes that come with T4RM (ERP) are duly tested and validated so we can successfully launch the program, and our e-commerce and Digital Partner Commerce consumer journey and internal operational processes can continue to flow with excellence.
  • You will have exposure to the end-to-end e-com and Digital Partner Commerce flows and are tasked to ensure we maintain smooth, seamless journeys and internal processes, with a core focus on the pre-order piece of the journey, ensuring consistency between internal sales forecasts, product plans and reports on the one hand, and the “on-site” consumer-facing execution on the other hand. This means you will be the spider in the web owning the E2E flows, interfacing with all the different internal functions that are each responsible for a piece of the puzzle (such as Demand Planning, Buying, Trading, DVM/Merchandising Operations, Analytics and others).
  • You add value by ensuring all tests, tools, processes and trainings are delivered on-time, with quality and in line with expected business outcomes.
  • Alongside driving Testing & Training activities for the T4RM project, you are flexible to support the Buying, Planning & Trading teams with other needs related to the T4RM project or their day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure clear communication and collaboration with key stakeholders (e.g., Distribution Center, Suppliers, Global Product Owner, Brand, Finance, Demand Planning) to support Pricing & Merchandising Operations processes.
  • Assist in designing and implementing process changes in Pricing & Merchandising.
  • Maintain up-to-date process documentation reflecting the impact of the new ERP (SAP) solution.

 

As the Manager for T4RM Buying, Planning & Trading, your role will be to support the existing team while also overseeing key processes and tasks. This will allow the other team members also to be exposed to training and testing activities related to T4RM. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Support pricing planning and execution across all product categories, ensuring alignment with the brand strategy and achievement of financial goals
  • Product lifecycle management, with a focus on planning and executing major commercial campaigns (e.g., end-of-season sales, Black Friday). - Inventory planning and readiness, ensuring that ERP (SAP) systems provide full transparency on inventory. You will ensure physical inventory is accurately mapped, categorized, and visible to consumers for orders.
  • Transparency across the supply chain, open-to-buy, order status, distribution center deliveries, and stock transfers, with particular attention to ERP-related changes.
  • Master data accuracy in seasonal range files and systems, ensuring alignment with digital systems and ERP (SAP) updates.
  • Assisting with regular activities, such as omnichannel stock movements, stock transfers, availability checks for eCommerce, and tracking of fast-selling items or campaigns.
  • Supporting compliance efforts for pricing master data.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Passionate about products with expertise in merchandising and retail processes/operations, along with a broad understanding of other relevant functions in buying, planning, trading.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to dive into large datasets using various tools and build key relationships to achieve results.
  • Collaborative team player, capable of working effectively within diverse teams and departments.
  • Strong understanding of key digital KPIs (e.g., Traffic, AOV, PDP views, CVR) but also financial performance metrics (demand, net sales, margin, logistic costs).
  • Comprehensive understanding of operational process mapping. Experience in e-com, ideally across multiple areas in the e-com journey
  • Experience in editing, submitting, retrieving data from SAP or other ERP solutions.
  • Extremely strong organizational, communication & planning skills - flexibility to handle multiple tasks and business partners. Ability to work in deadline driven environment. Strong Project Management skillset required
  • Experience working with stakeholders at various seniority levels as well as subject matter experts across various functions (developers, business stakeholders, product and marketing teams, etc.)

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • BA / BS in Business, Supply Chain, Economics or related field
  • 3+ years professional experience (experience in digital/eCommerce, Buying & Merchandising, Operations,).
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required
  • General understanding of eCom Operations.
  • Advanced user of Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP or familiarity with other ERPs.
