Manager eCom Commercial Planning & Execution

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

As a Manager Commercial Planning & Execution at adidas you are part of the EU eCom Growth organization which is responsible for delivering cutting-edge business planning services to stakeholders and for coordinating the hunt for new business growth opportunities, both short and long term. The team is also responsible for coordinating the planning and execution of our key commercial moments. We are looking to expand our team with future talent that has the same insatiable drive as us to find and drive with our business partners new opportunities for our consumers that help to continuous grow EU eCom at adidas. As a manager Commercial Planning & Execution you are an energetic and data driven bridge builder between our team and our partners to identify and execute on new opportunities with fast paced and collaborative business opportunity follow up, where needed with business case or project management support.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with your management and key business partners to define new business opportunities as part of the business planning and execution process within EU eCom
  • Support business case development and implementation for prioritized opportunities also with ad hoc analysis and insights
  • Support key sales and commercial moments meeting management
  • Support business planning and execution process optimization in the sense of new data and tool enablement
  • Support the growth culture within adidas eCom

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

Soft-Skills:

 

  • Genuine interest in the sporting goods industry, digital experience and digital growth.
  • Self-starter, capable of planning and executing tasks with little oversight.
  • Understanding of the complexities of eCommerce systems and processes, with a focus on the impact of change and dependencies.
  • A good communicator, open to feedback, proactive and a hands-on attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be a team player, and manage change effectively.
  • Fluency in English is a must (speaking and writing skills).
  • The ability to tell a story behind numbers is a must (verbal and written).
  • Ability to multi-task whilst retaining quality across projects.
  • Experience with international or multi-level eCom business.
  • Very good communication skills, comfortable presenting assigned topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely.

 

Hard-Skills:

 

  • Knowledge of eCom business/commercial processes and KPIs
  • Extensive experience in using ETL tools (Alteryx, Knime, SPSS Modeler etc.)
  • Very strong MS Excel skills. Other data tool and analytical experience is appreciated.
  • Experience with data visualization and storytelling techniques
  • Fluent English both verbally and written
  • Basic experience in business case development/techniques and project management

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • University degree in the field of Business, Data, Marketing or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in eCom/Digital field
